15/1/2003 16:09 | Dunno mate - but I have just watched a 1m ??? suspect it was a buy (priced at 45) so I will chart it as a buy followed by a 100k sell at 41. Looks like someone will mop up the spare stock - any one any idea just how much of this is in the hands of the MMs?? | small racer
15/1/2003 14:02 | Final Results will be the end of this month. Hope they don't post them late like they did last year. Do you think they'll wait till results day to release news?? | matkinsell

13/1/2003 11:06 | SAW got rid of the engineering side and is just online stuff now - if you look at the business model you will see that there is a bit 'missing'. As usual just prior to a statement the price drops (MMs on the make incase its a good statement so the small punter has no cheap shares). This time its the same and SAW clearly have something in the pipeline - if it is more concerts and a bit of on line games/gambles etc this could be a rocket. If its the same old dreary - deal to be done etc etc the share price will return to its new low and sit there for a few months till the cycle starts again. What needs to happen is that SAW make their statement and this needs to reflect what is happening on the web sites and in the real world. | small racer
13/1/2003 08:32 | maestro,i don,t think so,as the engineering side of Shaw has gone. | wayneb

09/1/2003 08:45 | Old news i know, but the bit about the music bussiness does apply to what i said last night. LONDON (AFX) - Arthur Shaw PLC said it is moving to the AIM from the official list of the London Stock Exchange following the collapse of two of its businesses. It said its Arthur Shaw Manufacturing Ltd and Jackdaw (Fasteners) Ltd engineering operations have become insolvent. "The Board believes that AIM, with its lower cost of complying with continuing obligations, is a more appropriate market for the company given its size and shareholder base," it said. It said it expects to return to a main listing once its music division "has developed sufficiently". It also said it would continue to seek acquisitions in the music and record label sector. vip NNN | wayneb
08/1/2003 20:57 | Phone Bryan today, but he was not in the office because he could not get there because of the snow.Lets hope himself and his team can pull something off big and make us all better off.Lets face it if they can pull it off the share price should rise very quick .But all we need is some sort of good news.BROADBAND is here and the number of people changing to it is growing daily. This is where there expertise lies.It might not be in the form of web concerts,i think it could be with DVD,S or CD,S.it that area i think. | wayneb
08/1/2003 15:14 | SAW always start down - but the price never really moves its just a ploy by the MMs to generate a bit of interest. There is not a lot of down left here - the only way is up (I hope). Lets see what SAW announce. | small racer
08/1/2003 08:21 | Started down today, has a big sell order been put in this A,M.or was yesterday a sell day as i was out all day?. | wayneb
06/1/2003 13:41 | Banter - I don't know - but I would not like to think they only had the foofighters. I suspect that SAW are getting lined up with a whole lot more than just on line concerts. Broadband - always on will change our concept of delivery to the home. (and you can tape/record em better). Best to wait for any announcement that is due. | small racer
06/1/2003 09:22 | have they still got foofighters on their books ??? as my kids and their friends say they are good Banter | banter
06/1/2003 08:53 | Wayneb - You have hit it right on the nail head. With the take off of Broadband etc we will see SAW take off big style. Upto now the main problem the slow thoughput for modem users when they watch the 'live' concerts. Check my posts from last year on the other thread for more details. | small racer
06/1/2003 08:52 | Well it could. As it could be the year that Microsoft, BP and Shell go bust. But I doubt whether any of these events will actually happen. | darias
06/1/2003 08:40 | ARTHUR SHAW RECORDING COMPANY ??????MAYBE!!!!!!! Yes, could this be the year that SAW make it.As i see it this is the only chance left to pull a rabbit out of its hat.Broadband is taking off big time now so we should benifit from this with there technology. If they can get there timing right. | wayneb
11/11/2002 13:43 | What news from SAW - when do we expect any??? | small racer |
