Posted at 24/6/2007 07:08 by 2sharky does anybody know the current situation with saw ie can we write them off as loss or are they still trading, i havent looked at these for sometime and therefore out of touch, thanks, peter |
Posted at 13/10/2006 08:50 by mickysteve I am sure there are a lot of SAW shareholders like me, who are disgusted with the way Bryan Morrison has dealt with this whole situation. I have held SAW shares for many years now and feel totally cheated by this man. It would appear his only involvement in Aurthur Shaw was to aquire and asset strip the business for personal gain with no thought of loyalty to his shareholders or the employees who have been sacrificed on the way. When I last looked at the stock 2 or 3 years ago, probably around the time they stopped trading I was reasonbly sure we would get something back as the company figures showed property assets at that time of in excess of 7 million. It now looks like all that has mysteriously disappeared - does anyone out there with a better understanding of these matters have any idea what might have happened to this considerable property asset.Any info would be appreciated Stevo |
Posted at 05/10/2006 10:24 by nsurti I just rang Benedict Mackenzie, who say they are no longer handling the case for SAW, however SAW is now operating in Star Street. They lady I spoke to does not have the address or telephone number but has taken my details and said she would ring back once she has the contact number. I will try and chase her if I haven't heard in a few days and post the details as soon as I have them. Unless someone else gets them before me. |
Posted at 07/1/2006 13:53 by scottrorke I have received a written response from the Insolvency Practitioner. He's asked me to write back to him with details of my holding in my nominee account. Slim, slim, hope I know.I would be happy to write a collective letter on behalf of as many owners of this stock as possible. The names of shareholders who own SAW through their online stockbroking facility will not appear upon the list of recognised shareholders and so it is important to get your name in amongst the list of creditors as your online stockbroking facility is unlikely to do this for you without some serious prompting. This is a voluntary insolvency. If you wish to have your name included in a collective letter then please e-mail me and include your name and the name of your stockbroker. My e-mail address is scottrorke@hotmail.c |
Posted at 15/12/2005 11:03 by bluewizz It has a very bad year for me so i have not spent much time on SAW or any other shares for that matter but my broker has mailed me this message yesterday.SHAW(ARTHUR)& CO ORD GBP0.001 We refer to your above holding and advise you that following the Company being placed into administration, CRESTCO have withdrawn permission for the company to participate in the CREST system. Accordingly we are now unable to reflect your above holding in your Share Portfolio. You remain the beneficial owner of these shares and we will contact you if and when any further information becomes available. i do not know if this will precipatate a reverse takeover or that the company will finally be rapped up ???? |

Posted at 07/3/2005 18:25 by small racer Well chaps the only thing that is certain is that until SAW goes to liquidation we can not get a penny on tax - for right off etc.If SAW is NOT liquidated there may be a few bob left in for those of us that hold hundreds of thousands of these - and I mean only a few bob - about right there wayneb - 1/1000 at the very least, I would be happy on a 1/100 !!! Optimistic I know. We will have to wait - we have waited for ages already, a few more weeks will not hurt. |
