17/2/2020 13:53 | What are they buying if clients switch to another broker, charges seem to be higher from Interactive Investors. Especially if you deal by telephone like me. | montyhedge
17/2/2020 12:03 | This is bad news for Share customers who use telephone service, fees nearly treble. Tried to speak to Interactive Investors, holding for 20 mins, useless. | montyhedge
17/2/2020 11:43 | Been with the Share Centre for a number of years. If it's all going to take that long, I'll probably just switch to AJ BellNot using ii | gateside
17/2/2020 10:53 | So, ive logged my complaint. Been told it will take at least 6 months before anything happens where nothing changes and the FCA have to approve (lets hope they dont!). Assuming the FCA do approve then it will take a further 12 months for the transition. That is unbelievable to take that long. In the meantime then lots of headaches for existing customers! | cfro
17/2/2020 10:20 | Those who have accounts with ii and SHRE will need to look at the compensation limits. Concentration risk. | eeza
17/2/2020 10:19 | Charges ALWAYS go up with Interactive. Won't be long before they're offering a new array of nonsense, which will cost more. | eeza
17/2/2020 09:59 | I will move to AJ Bell if charges go up with Interactive. | montyhedge
17/2/2020 09:54 | Do II allow US shares and ETFs etc in an ISA? The Sharecentre have a vast range of shares and instruments that they allow. I can see that i will almost certainly be changing brokers come the time. But the question is who else is there? I dont like HL. | cfro
17/2/2020 09:49 | In terms of customer service this is like when Tesco was buying regional supermarket chains. Share customers can expect a cheaper, more efficient service as part of ii but will lose a lot of specialist and more individual products and services that added value. I use ii and it works well but it can be inflexible - for example you can't deal after 4.30pm in the closing auction. But size does matter for companies like ii trying to offer very cheap dealing services that cater for 90%+ of private investors. | kinwah
17/2/2020 09:30 | at the moment i can withdraw cash from my ISA and put it back in before the end of the tax year. £49 plus for a telelphone trade. Clueless customer services staff, the industry gets worse not better. Plus where's the competition? They should be looking at this deal. | nickjoseph
17/2/2020 09:27 | Nickjoseph, Can i ask, what do mean by "no flexible ISA" please? Just had a skirt round the II site and agree its terrible, very clunky and feels amateurish. | cfro
17/2/2020 08:54 | You're right. Changed my mind and legged it! Massive stinger to share centre investors surely.. | thelongandtheshortandthetall
17/2/2020 08:50 | You are going to receive 4.1p in cash and u listed paper? What's there to close | busterposh2
17/2/2020 08:39 | Well I've bought a couple as I expect the current price and cumulative offer price to close further. Good luck all share centre customers. | thelongandtheshortandthetall
17/2/2020 08:24 | Awful news.Share Centre have excellent customer service | gateside
17/2/2020 08:03 | Yeah not good. Share centre are a great company :( | thelongandtheshortandthetall
17/2/2020 07:46 | phoned iii recently to enquire about their service and the customer services were pretty clueless about anything. Didn't understand SEAQ or how they would fill an order. No flexible ISA, looks like sharecentre have sold out their customers. | nickjoseph
17/2/2020 07:34 | Looks horrible. Should have been all cash bid IMO. | typo56
17/2/2020 07:30 | Looks like we have been sold down the river then...not best pleased. | cfro
16/12/2019 17:08 | Most (but not all) of my prices are frozen today on share.com. First time I've ever experienced a technical fault with them. | thamestrader
18/6/2019 14:03 | 55p here we come. That's without another bid approach. | montyhedge
06/6/2019 11:14 | top Yes profit is a profit, charges have gone up slightly. More clients, I think going to grow now, unexciting but safe. Woodford should have gone into those kind of investments, lol. I do like the new online service and cheap. | montyhedge
06/6/2019 11:00 | I've sold out whilst the going is good. Pleased to make a c20% profit in 2 years, before dividends on a purchase that I shouldn't have made really. This business does not generate high returns. A forward P/E of 43 is too high. Good company, but unfortunately still marginal profitability and I can't see that changing significantly with sub-5% of UK market share. Good luck to holders. | topvest
05/6/2019 16:07 | Nice rns just out, I see these 45p plus. | montyhedge
31/5/2019 09:15 | I hope they don't get taken over, already had one bid approach, but must be on the radar of the other stockbrokers. Profits should start rolling in now. One of the best Stockbrokers around. | montyhedge |
