It seems that AIM is a very good place for experiences. A lot of the time people are just getting ripped off.

Cheers for that Snoop. It all looked so good for the first few months of suspension. But they (STN board) gambled and we lost.

The one bit of info that peeps might find interesting is that you can deal in these shares on the jpjl website ( symbol SET on a 'matched bargain' basis. (I am hoping someone will explain that concept better than i can). They are quoted at 0.1p at present. Anyone more clued up than I am is welcome to check it out.

Blown it all probably when the (then) adviser warned them against the risk. That's my bet, hence the resignation after. Looking like there is no chance of recovering the money and as you say Rebtif, there is little (if anything) left.

Many thanks for the Reb.

That msg has a very terse tone.

The following I have just received from Peter Burton:_

Setstone's 2004 accounts (year to 31 Oct 2004) are filed at Companies House. The AGM will be held in December and the notice of meeting will be issued shortly to all shareholders, along with a printed copy of the accounts and the Chairman's statement summarising the present position.

Tony Hoskinson is the company's Executive Director. Grant Thornton is not an adviser to the company

JohDavison, I think you will ahve to buy them on line. haven't heard anything from Peter Burton since last email. The only things I know are what people have put on this bb. Pretty disgusted they cannot communicate with shareholders about what they have done with their money. Very unprofessional and unprofounded!!

Anyone seen the accounts yet, or am I going to have to buy them online to view?
