The AGM calling notice was posted to shareholders last Monday. The meeting is on Monday 11 December 2006, at 9am, at the offices of Trowers and Hamlin, Sceptre Court, 40 Tower Hill, LONDON EC3N 4DX

The directors will have more of a problem if the company goes bust whilst they are trading insolvent ! They better have dotted the i's and crossed the t's !!

And they are still in denial re:£760,000 that is owed. Can't see anything but a write off. Don't know if anyone can give a take on whether the directors have not fulfilled their obligations of safeguarding the assets of the company.

john they have as far as I can make out failed on all of those points but theres not a lot we can do about it is there ?

so are the acounts saying in order to remain solvent they have to write of the money lent to s + g ?

Auditors dispute recovery of £700k... if the auditors right they are insolvent.

acounts are now on the company website , looks like their is nothing setstone can do or can afford to do to recover the money stoln by s + g . I cant belive s+g are being allowed to get away with it if they cant repay the money we should be able to claim their assets ie the mine .

if you owned a porn publishing house you would get your money back and more......just think this company was run by a couple of old codgers that couldnt give a toss......this has robbery written all over it.....what they have done is not the norm.....and im sure anyone can see that......

Who knows fatnacker, I have asked a few questions but nothing.. I guess all will be revealed. At least its a potential offset against captial Gains..how ever I'd much rather have my money back.. ARE YOU LISTENING Mr BURTON.

giltspur I dont think giving out unsercured loans is a crime and as for taking mwm's advice well you pay you money and take a chance ,I wish i could say otherwise but looks like this donkeys dead ,glad I only bung'ed £1200 in unlike my other disaster lgb which has sucked up a five figure sum that I just cant bare to type out load .

This requires investigating by the police.

Why did MW Mitchell tip it on Whatshot.com just prior to being given the boot?

They handed out cash as unsecured loans to pals and its not too late to inform the police and they are obligated to investigate you know.

All you have to do is voice your suspicions to the fraud squad and they will definitely investigate it.

With out doubt it is most suspicious indeed.
