15/8/2024 17:56 | But the junior doctor pay settlement .....We'll see how radical Streeting is with the NHS deity .... | lostsole
15/8/2024 16:18 | Not only car production that will disappear from UK. Faced with fines like that car companies may do a Mitsubishi and pull out of the UK sales and all. | fardels bear
15/8/2024 14:11 | WHEN ARE RESULTS ?? | neilyb675
15/8/2024 13:20 | I don't think there will be any need to increase the dividend and don't expect it to. Directors were confident from May onwards when Mitch bought 75k at £1.90 and there have been about 10 further buying deals by directors including 320k+ around £1.40. Considering oil has softened recently, nice that we are up about 15p from lows and hopefully thro £1.50 area before results. | mickinvest
15/8/2024 13:08 | You have to love markets. There was panic selling last week on the totally expected news that windfall tax was going to increase. Now there's panic buying this week as people realize that Labour are not going to go beyond the extra windfall taxation that they stated they would bring in. Going into earnings next month, I think results should be quite good with a chunky dividend due to boot. | tabhair
15/8/2024 12:44 | Interesting how negative it got on here when the lows were reached too. You'd hope Labour would quietly backtrack a little, having got their headlines, but having seen the wage settlements they're rolling over & giving, I think this is shaping up to be the worst govnt in a long time. Only Truss/Kwarteng beating them. Wish them luck, but the wage demands & strikes are going to come thick & fast. Happy to be long the volatile SQZ, it's an asset-backed option on either Labour changing, gas spikes, or even just p/e mean reversion. | spectoacc
15/8/2024 12:00 | Share price inching up at last from what seemed an extreme oversold low of 121p just over a week ago. Results last year were on September 19th, when interim dividend was increased from 8p to 9p. If they at least maintain the 9p dividend that alone is about 7% yield. There surely must be pressure from multiple sources including Serica Management on Milliband and Rachel Reeve to see the folly of their ludicrous North Sea oil policy. They so need those North Sea revenues and how on earth can’t they see that to lose them will cost the UK economy £billions? | kenmitch
15/8/2024 07:49 | North sea gas price has been going up lately which should be helpful here. | undervaluedassets
13/8/2024 13:19 | Looks like some offsetting relief will remain for low carbon investments. Hopefully that will include for example projects for electrification of assets old and new as opposed to just pure low carbon projects like wind farms.htTps://www.th | oilretire
12/8/2024 07:51 | Looks well oversold. Indicators turning up, yet share price so far has failed to respond. A good Risk/Reward trade down at this level; so joined in for a few at 128p first thing this morning. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | skyship
09/8/2024 14:33 | Must be due news soon. Lots of activity. | waterloo01

08/8/2024 22:14 | Uk gas prices creeping up to nearly 100p due to concerns re Ukraine pipeline carrying Russian gas to Europe and UKs lack of storage capacity and thus sensitivity to price fluctuations. Should be helping share price but remains stuck at recent lows but also highlights the nonsensical position of Milliband et al re NS O&G. Energy security- they couldn’t care less by the looks of it. | tup2
05/8/2024 08:35 | Labour.gov's Tax Raid on UKOG is not going to deliver windfall anticipated! | xxnjr
04/8/2024 14:23 | My Achilles heel this share, worst performer of my holdings, continue to hold average now 159.2p. Dividends are nice but they should be cutting them next payment. I am positive they are working in the background to bid for assets outside the UK. Oil price recently is not helping but buy when fear is maxed. Testing even my patience here. | cowie19
03/8/2024 08:54 | From the offshore article above published on 26 July: "The plan is to complete the well and commence testing in August 2024, following the scheduled Triton summer shutdown." So presumably just testing left given that the rig has recently moved on. | bountyhunter
03/8/2024 08:52 | "The planned 2024 summer shutdown of the Triton FPSO remains at forty days commencing on 1 July." from the 27 June update. That takes us to 9 August unless completed ahead of schedule. | bountyhunter
03/8/2024 08:46 | Should be. Bittern drill finished and due to start producing this month and the rig has now moved to Gannet for the next drill. | farmscan
03/8/2024 08:42 | Bitterne news possible this month: "A four-well programme is slated to begin in 2024 with the Bittern B1z sidetrack, now designated as the B6 well, which has been drilled successfully. The plan is to complete the well and commence testing in August 2024, following the scheduled Triton summer shutdown." | bountyhunter
03/8/2024 08:23 | 17.7% yield at the current price. 9p interim to be declared around 24 Sep 2024? | bountyhunter
03/8/2024 07:34 | Move operations outside the UK to avoid tax and give this Labour government a massive tax black hole is what they need to do. Let's face it they've lobbied the government they haven't listened it's time to act. | creditcrunchies |
