21/5/2018 07:37 | bounty/Fardel I agree on both points but the top in Jan and fall after is a pre warning like on 3rd Sept 1929 | chestnuts
21/5/2018 07:05 | and the mandatory pensions for all which have to be invested somewhere; chestnuts you have a point but often these rallies continue far longer than expected | bountyhunter
21/5/2018 06:11 | But don't forget that due to the ongoing puny interest rates on savings many people are invested in the market who are retired and don't really want to be in equities..That's going to keep markers high, IMHO. | fardels bear
20/5/2018 22:34 | Bounty I agree ftse is just above where we were 18 yrs ago where the dow is way over priced , but the trouble is when the dow catches a cold the ftse gets the flu | chestnuts
20/5/2018 21:59 | ftse not an awful.lot higher than way back in 2000 | bountyhunter
20/5/2018 21:00 | Sorry Fardel i added too many 000000 i have altered it to 20000 and you are right oil as gone up 50% i knew some one would correct me its a shock to the market what causes major market movements | chestnuts
20/5/2018 20:46 | Dow hasn't gone up 200000 in nine years and oil is up 50% in three months and doubled in three years.Where are you getting your info from chesty.,?Understand you're out but ffs. | fardels bear
20/5/2018 19:41 | Back in last week Dh but only fifty thou ish..Saving funds for IOG retrace and the possible award of something interesting in 30th Seaward for I3E.I don't think markets look toppy, but then I've not sold out and sitting in cash.. ;) | fardels bear
20/5/2018 19:39 | I know what you mean chesty. But I hope you got out at a profit? | dunderheed
20/5/2018 19:23 | Dunderheed I have sold too much uncertaintity going forward, and the markets in genral are looking very toppy so we could have a very big correction coming and it will take everything down if it happens, some times best to sit back and watch the market, a bit gutted when i sold. | chestnuts
20/5/2018 19:03 | Chesty have you sold out matey? FB you back in (yet?!) Me I haven't a clue lol?! I think r3 is delayed because BP don't want anything to do with Iran now. In theory this is better for SQZ if remaining (or bettered) terms kept? I have a feeling that the acquisition will continue - SQZ get better 2P because of delay in r3 and I wouldn't be surprised if there was some help to progress this for SQZ due to new circumstances. It really isn't good if this asset gets closed off because BP / SQZ pull out of deal. 5+% Gas supply has to be shifted elsewhere plus possible redundancies which really is totally unacceptable for Scottish govt and UK govt imho. We will see but, that's how I think it will pan out. I openly admit I want to shift some SQZ to IOG but will not do this if IOG pops (and will probably wait too long for price to drop a bit (lol) and miss the boat entirely but...) just being open and honest!! | dunderheed
20/5/2018 18:51 | I seem to be getting a tad confused. I'll blame the Keo.. | fardels bear
20/5/2018 17:32 | Being so cheerful as keeps you going, Robo. Everybody's hopes dashed in one short post... Serica should pay you to Don your other hat and write their RNS releases. | fardels bear
20/5/2018 17:30 | US and China halt imposing import tariffs Written in stone one minute, flexible the next. Where goes China deal also scope for Iran deal perhaps | fardels bear
20/5/2018 16:02 | sawney, my investment in CLNR feels like a wild punt to me also at least looking back, has been a jam tomorrow stock until now but yes maybe the licensing round results could change things | bountyhunter
20/5/2018 13:33 | Disagree. No need for bans.Free speech etc etc. This BB is good in comparison to others infested with trolls. At least most posters here are holders or prospective holders all with an interest in SQZ. Some posters may occasionally blow a gasket in the short term but it returns to normal quickly enough. imho | pineapple1
20/5/2018 13:06 | Like minded individuals can also message each other using the advfn personal messaging facility. Agreed - Steelwatch - perhaps you could consider bans for certain posters as well ;-) | nigelpm
20/5/2018 11:02 | Don't forget that Natural gas futures have risen from 41 to 55 over the last 3 months that's over 30% increase. | robo175
20/5/2018 10:56 | By the way do you know anything about CLNR I took a wild punt on CLNR in January on the basis of the 30th Licensing round due soon and a potential farmout, although I won't be hanging around.... | sawney
20/5/2018 09:39 | There is nothing more off-putting than politics on a stock thread. May I suggest using the appropriate fora such as, but not limited to: Like minded individuals can also message each other using the advfn personal messaging facility. | steelwatch |
