24/7/2024 08:47 | kenmitch, I agree: Dividend Data is reliable and up-to-date. It also welcomes feedback and acts on it promptly. The only time I caught it in error was when a company (CRU) decided to cancel a dividend. That time, DD overlooked the cancellation, which was buried in a general RNS Trading Statement issued 45 days after the original announcement of the dividend. | ![]() meanreverter

23/7/2024 22:14 | It's actually 23p - 14p will be paid tomorrow and 9p was paid in November 2023. The question is what will it be in Nov.'24 and July '25 ? | ![]() kernelthread
23/7/2024 22:00 | How did you get the figure of 22p for the dividend BH? | ![]() mickinvest
23/7/2024 20:00 | DEC dividend has been cut to current $0.29 a quarter. That’s about 90p a year against current share price of £1,215 to give approximately 7.5% yield. Dividend data is imo the best site for dividends. Here’s the link for the DEC dividends:- | ![]() kenmitch
23/7/2024 19:52 | 16.5% yield for SQZ, via the 'Dividend' link at the top of the header. ..if you add up the interim and final dividends for SQZ over the last financial year you get 22p which when divided by the current share price gives a current yield of 16.9% Re DEC yes the dividend was cut - it's still reasonable but nowhere near that 18% yield any more. | ![]() bountyhunter
23/7/2024 19:21 | 97Peter, this looks a bit out of date on DEC, which no longer offers a div of 18%. | ![]() brucie5

23/7/2024 13:07 | Enquest have assets, oil wells outside of UK. Plus their buyback is going well. They have cash assets and tax losses to claim against for many millions for the coming 4-5/years. Perfect merger and SERIQUEST new company bigger and better than the individuals. | ![]() 97peter
23/7/2024 08:41 | I'd rather have the cashflow. Live in hope of a volte face on the North Sea - Starmer won't have wanted to ship too many votes to the even more ignorant Greens, but by the time of the Autumn Statement, perhaps the more idiotic policies (oil's going to be produced somewhere, & we've only so many football clubs to sell to the Middle East) may have been forgotten. Not saying it won't be bad for producers - just maybe not as bad as feared, whether that's new production licences, or not entirely ending expensing. | ![]() spectoacc
23/7/2024 08:33 | In the current situation I think Serica should announce a new strategy away from the UK. The North Sea assets should be bled dry with absolutely minimum investment and no new projects - this is actually the government's stated intention. The profits from this, still significant, should be used to purchase assets abroad in regimes wanting to encourage oil and gas development. In this context I think they should cancel dividends and refocus the cash into new assets abroad. Perhaps a merger with a non-UK company which has assets but needs cash would be the quickest way forward. | ![]() kibes |
