Sacking a manager who is not up for the job is not a bad thing. What are the issues with the local community? SRB do a lot for the local community.

T60, your repetitive downbeat comments about production rates in 2021 are becoming tiresome given the "covid factor". They have confirmed they are within guidance and already acknowledged that supply side aspects were an issue, but as per interview in November back orders are starting to be fulfilled. Mike is also on record saying they do not have the luxury of $10m inventory. Situation is improving (date:30/11/2021)

Loving the hypocrisy GP.

I post the night before a RNS stating good news on exploration coming and no comment. I post a factual piece that is less positive for SRB and you complain.

As they say you can have your own opinion but not your own facts. And the fact of the matter is that your one eyed view about a ‘worthy achievement’ is not shared by many, including the market which has marked the share price down.

Sacking the general manager this week and issues with the local population is a worthy piece of news to post. Just because it does not reflect positively on SRB does not mean it should not be publicly aired.

As to posting again it was the Bj v trader that I got bored with and that seems to of disappeared but happy for you to post all sides and add anything new. Maybe some analysis on how they can reach 45,000 this year with supporting evidence?

tiger60 .. I don’t think they see much of MH either . I do wonder if blatant cash was being stolen in substantial amounts whether absent management could have lead to gold disappearing out of the back door also . Clive should have been sacked but the gravy train continues . So they need to prove themselves now but they are both at an age when the enthusiasm might not be there and just looking for an easy life . This thing needs energy .. lots of it .

T60 (aka Taser on LSE site), viewed alongside a covid world Serabi have done a great job.

Meeting 2021 guidance is a worthy achievement especially given plenty of other miners have missed.

You have declared selling out fully in December and your comment previously about not posting again has been broken many times prior.

Perhaps better to stand in judgement when the pandemic is over.

Serabi Mineração fired last Tuesday morning (18), the General Manager , André Vieira, who had been with the company for 2 years. The measure was taken by Hélio Tavares, who returned to the company three months ago, and his mission is to reduce operating costs and increase the technical level of his managers. With this directive, several managers are being replaced and old acquaintances have returned and others with a scheduled date are arriving.

According to information, some complaints related to the manager were that he only started his work at 09:00, and the working day starts at 07:00, and he did not usually go around the mine to check the progress of the work. Even when the company went through problems such as employee deaths, suspension of environmental license and signing of a Conduct Adjustment Term (TAC) with the Public Ministry of Labor and environmental agency.

“We practically did not see the General Manager inside the mine, nor in the DDS (Daily Safety Dialogue), I believe that this change will not have any impact on our routine”, says an employee of the mining company.

The mining company continues with changes in its staff. We hope that our population has access to compete for these vacancies. After all, the company's motto is very beautiful, but it still does not reflect the reality that our gold is really our people.

Think the only way out of this share price hole is for them to get their heads down and realise some serious production .it’s all the market and shareholders really react to . Grades and exploration don’t seem to make that much impact … so MH … get Clive over there with a shovel and pick and you might as well join him and get digging .

Yes GP, we will soon be due some news from Coringa, maybe to be combined within the next week with 2021 YE production and 2022 guidance?.I have to say I am confused with their Ore Sorting strategy, (I noted their comment some while ago). OS was sold to us as a means of increasing head grade feeding a maxed-out process plant; however Coringa has an over-sized plant (yet to be assembled) so surely recovering every cost-effective ounce becomes the focus?.Cheers, tightfist

Some early findings from Coringa will be welcomed.

From 13th October 2021
"
Exposure of the orebody through development could identify potential mining and processing improvements for the project and future operation:

The project economics are currently based on selective mining. The Company currently utilises a more mechanised long-hole open stoping at the São Chico deposit and is having good success with this mining method on the more regular veins at Palito. There is strong potential that this mining method could be effectively deployed at Coringa.

The use of ore sorting technology at Palito has been very successful. The Coringa drill core suggests the presence of the same strong contrast between ore and waste rock. The Company plans to take development ore from Coringa to Palito and run tests to assess the applicability of this technology.

Afternoon Cotton,.I am a afraid we are one year of sync, I was looking forward to FY 2022. On 15 Jan 2021 they said "....the Company anticipates that production for 2021 from the current Palito Complex operations will be between 33,000 and 36,000 ounces - with production in 2022 then increasing to approximately 45,000 ounces". I was just curious if the brokers revenue forecast still supported that 45k outcome - which it doesn't. .Maybe I have to learn to be patient! Tightfist

Morning Tightfist

A 15% increase in revenue would be turnover of $64m which would suggest sales in the 9500oz region for the 4th qtr. If grades are improving as MH has stated then that is quite feasible. I would be looking for a profit before tax ~ $14m.

So the third quarter production was deemed ‘excellentR17; in the accompanying RNS and in his latest interview MH states that 4th quarter production is ‘stable’. The clues are there.
