You'd expect some press about those grades. 513 g/t and average of 95 g/t is exceptional.

Tightfist like you I have been in a very long time. I sold out a couple of times - but now hold a fair few hoping they will multibag from Here. Am up 2x since latest entry based on my average. IMO Fratelli = good. Greenstone wouldn’t trust them. I suspect at some point they will engineer something. You never know though that might still work in our favour.

Hi Tightfist. I’m 65 next month so ideally I am looking to exit all of my (13)share portfolio over the next 2 years (3max) on a share by share basis when they reach what I consider a decent price / fair value. My biggest holding is 120,000 Lloyd’s at over 55p average so I guess they will be with me a lot longer than some of the others before I can get out!

Hi MWF, I suppose it all depends on your time scale. I have already been invested in SRB for 7 years and I foresee the same again. The low current valuation combined with the possible compounding returns aspirations of Fratelli makes a very attractive investment proposition IMO. If one was to want a quick buck then maybe not so attractive - from the get-go the spread deters?.I don't think it's any coincidence that Banadõs took over as chairman and within a couple of months any further CLN's were frozen and the exercise timescale then extended. Also acting in the PI's interest whereby pressure from Banadõs preserves and enhances the equity value. And they have demonstrated that the funding involvement of another for expansion is NOT a no-go area..In summary, I remain comfortable with Fratelli involvement - the upfront impression may not be so desirable? Cheers, tightfist

Tightfist et al. Just read every word of the interview and it does paint a very balanced approach between Fratelli and the company management. Overall I think it is a very positive relationship as fritelli are clearly in it for the medium to long term rather than a quick buck. Allowing greenstone in as well was for the benefit of SRB rather than just fritelli. He also indicated that the family is prepared to reduce their holding when appropriate which will , at that time improve liquidity or even if they go for a block sale it would obviously be at a decent price which would immediately reflect in the overall share price. It is interesting that they went in with POG at $1800 saw it fall to $1100 and have supported the company all the way back until today’s level.
My conclusion is that the involvement of Fratelli will be a positive for us minnows in terms of working with greenstone and the SRB management to get us to the magical 100,000 oz production. So all,we need now is POG to stay at or above $1800 (predicted well over $2000 by most top analysts) and a fair wind for everyone to come out of this smelling of roses within the next couple of years. ALL JUST IMHO.

Thanks tightfist. I will look at the whole link this evening. Just from what you have detailed it is very clear where the power lies in terms of determining SRBs future.
Overall, what is your take on their role in terms of being in the best interests of all
( including us minnows) on a score of 1-10 with 10 being very much in all our interests.
I really need £4 to pay off my mortgage and upgrade my 4 year old AudiA8 😂

Fratelli is a family of Chilean billionaires who made their fortune during the last 100+ years and remain enormous in Chilean retail, through Farabella outlets. They have a family office run by 5-strong Megeve Investments that hold a mandate to invest in certain sectors in selected South American countries, and have been involved in Serabi since 2011. Nicholas Banad?s is MD of PE at Megeve - he was an NED, became Chairman of the SRB Board last June; mining consultant NED Eduardo Rosselot also now appears to be with Megeve..As well as the Fratelli mandate he holds 1.8% of the SRB equity in his own right. Here is a very informative November 2019 overview:.hXXps://articles.cruxinvestor.com/family-office-major-investor-megeve-investments-nicolas-banados-transcript.Part way down in is a link (watch the full interview) to an insightful CRUX interview where Nicholas and Mathew explore a lot of what they are looking for and what they require strategically of Serabi. The ultimate LTH?.Happy watching, tightfist

All - Gold predictions for 2021. With respect to Goldmans, do we add $300 US oz in bull run. Could we be looking at $2600 US oz in 2021 or Feb 2022? Damn it looks good. $200 to $500 more an ounce is starting to look better for SRB.

Cannot really find any useful information on Fratelli as registered in Bermuda. Looks like a single family set up but no info on what they are invested in or if they manage other investors monies. Does anyone here have any more detail as obviously they effectively carry the final veto going forward.
There is a bit more info on Greenstone but again not much.At least they are based in London so we can be assured proper regulatory controls are in place.
So in many ways having just 2 holders controlling 58% has both positive and negative implications for us minions and only time will tell whether their actions going forward take us to true full value. Given today’s resource update there must be a risk the 2 ( or together with the 3rd largest holder) try to take total control at far less than true value.

The 35% governs the price of the remainder bojo. Only need to look at something like bitcoin to see what slim liquidity does when active markets are present. Unfortunately our market makers being unable to fulfil orders of anything above pocket money doesn't do us much good!

What's the mechanism to make a business more valuable if 2/3 are held by big investors. How does 35% trading double the value of the other 2/3? How do you make a GBP55M business worth GBP500M without trading 66% of the shares

Exactly right plat hunter. I've been using the low valuation to buy more here, as I'm happy to wait.

I believe their path to 100k oz and with todays announcement, presumably well beyond that figure, is laid out clearly and is achievable with little to no dilution.

Should their exploration success continue throughout the year (as I believe it will), coringa go successfully re. further licensing and build out (as I also believe it will) then this isn't a £55m company. In time I believe others will come to see the blindingly obvious! In the meantime, I'm trying not to moan (too much) - I'm just buying.
