Let's hope further exploration will find a big something, or, perhaps they will do a deal with a partner....
Meanwhile, the share price declines...no interest.

They're going to have to work on their AISC, now gold isn't behaving.

tightfist - I do agree with your posted opinion on slide 12 from Non 2020 Investor Presentation package. I'll use that to serve as metric #1.

I've taken the liberty of using a P/F/A style status report to measure the 2021 drilling performance being managed by the SRB executive team. The planned (P) drilling metrics came directly from slide 12. I counted all the squares (drill targets) on the chart for each of the 8 regions at the PC. To reiterate, the planned (P) drilling targets came from slide 12. The forecast (F) drilling targets will be sourced from any document released by SRB. The actual (A) drilling results will come from the NI report. I solicit the forum for feedback on the planned (P) targets.

OK, so how much inflation has QE produced so far? This is what people are unable to get their heads around. As long as the money just sits doing nothing, there is no inflation. It's only where/when it starts being put to work that there is significant inflation.

Why isn't QE inflationary, as it devalues the currency

The catch is that capital will also want to flow out of bonds, which will increase yields and produce an immense headache for governments and CBs. CBs will have to perform massive QE. But potentially their capacity is infinite, and QE is not inflationary in itself. It's only the fact that money pushing into the real economy could bring inflation, bringing negative real yields that would push the balance between bonds and gold in gold's favour.

Forgive me, I'm still trying to understand all this. It's taken decades to get this far!

It depends on the nature of the stimulus, which everyone expects to be forthcoming. If it's just bail-outs then you're right. But if it's mostly investment in infrastructure, green revolution, etc I just don't see why all the stagnant capital in the world (and there's a lot of it) would want to stay in non-productive assets. It'll want to get on board the train.

In short, gold price movements seem to (inversely) reflect confidence in the economic future.

Gold the most tangible asset around in this crazy world. It'll rocket, in mid Dec and keep going.

Gold spiked recently on fears of money printing during economic collapse i.e. massive risk-off situation. If the world goes risk-on for EVs, battery metals, green revolution, etc then gold will diminish in relevance. What am I missing?

I agree regarding the rights. Regarding 2020, the directors are salaried, not performance related pay. They can be sacked if they don't perform. Issues this year are not due to their failure. I suggest salaries deserved, job security secure and at least another year to demonstrate they can take us toward the point where today's MCAP is STUPID. Don't worry about POG, it will rise for ages as the world bottoms and recovers, just like after 2008. It won't peak until 2023/2024. We'll have AISC cost under US$1000 and production near 200,000 - Palito, Coringa, both utilising ore sorters plus 2-4 more Palito, plus more coming on line, plus farm in to open pit mine!!! US$1-2B by 2024.
