Bit of an obscure link but if you google "Garraway city financial" and then set the search for the past month. I always find looking for news a little better when using the date filters!

Basically when the share price started dropping when everything seemed to be printed buys I got suspicious so had a poke about.

Hi PPVN,I am intrigued by your post #3221 regarding Garraway and it's supposed fund gating - but cannot find any more info - please point me in the right direction. .I wonder why their holding (last reported on 1st May reduced to 2.8m shares) apparently has not been placed in the hands of another ii? Volume has certainly picked-up in August; may be related..Cheers, tightfist

Offer was 1.18.. Decent volumes as well (for TSX)

Trades under SBI CN.

Whilst it's on minuscule volume (there arent many shares on the Canadian register), it is the equivalent now of 69p.

No big late trades yet. Will keep half an eye out.

Littlepuppi7 Don't get greedy it dropped 800 yesterday let it recover a little then down another 800 on Monday, that should keep the gold price rising gently.

No trade - always calm before storm. I predict 59 or 69 close, but don't know which one. In up direction most likely after today's action and no doubt US down again / gold up. Trump total muppet if he thinks Xi is going to meet the HK People. If he has three options - meet them, do nothing or shot them, he'll not choose the former.

It's going to take a little time for the US to realise that this time the dip may not be worth buying.

I saw that SPDR Gold Shares outflows on Tuesday were the highest since 2016. I guess that brief drop in gold scared some punters out. Wonder how long it is until they realise and stick it all back in again!

Well that was short lived tried to sell at 68 no joy only there for a minute at most, what spooked it and gold. I heard China is going to impose tariffs on the U.S. so both gold and SRB spiked both now back down. Pity I went out other wise might have seen it sooner and sold and got back in lower making a nice day's wages, o well back to dreaming.

So I got a little bored (and it doesn't really take too long) and went through all the trades larger than 100k shares since 26th July. The first was on 31st July which seems to coincide timing wise as well as share price performance wise and all of them totalled is just over 2.4mm.

All of this is complete guesswork - the identity of a potential seller, the fact that they may or may not be selling, but if it is Garraway (I believe it could very well be) then they have about 400k left potentially.

Took a small holding in HUM Boris . Just to keep an eye on it . Looks like it might have turned a corner and of course .. gold .
