Interesting comprehensive article on pp 70/71 of the IC this week regarding their Buy rating of Shanta SHG; article has lots of parallels with SRB, or HUM for that matter. All three have three phases of growth pencilled-in. Personally I prefer the jurisdiction of Brasil. Nevertheless demonstrates the generic potential of an expanding goldie currently on a low prospective PER..PS: Does anyone else sense the Inverse H&S potential of the GDXJ chart?.Happy reading!, tightfist

I only jest Kenny but my strategy does need volume, low spreads and preferably no sdrt. The tighter the spreads and bigger the volume, the more you can trade. I sometimes get 2-3 trades a day out of CEY... If the share price is falling then i try to accumulate shares by selling and buying cheaper.. If it's rising then i sell for the cash.HUM bigger spreads and less liquidity compared to cey so i only get 2-3 trades a month out of that normally but the last couple of days has been busier.SRB has sdrt, big spreads and no volume. even though I like the company, i can't trade it. I was seduced, drunk almost on the fundamentals and neglected the technicals.Cost me 400 sheets in the end just to hold 5.5k shares for a week lol

Am still here too - lurking and holding - avg buy price gives some solace - not much to say until progress - board seems to becoming more sensible by the day.

As long as the drills are turning, we progress.

Haha Cotton, perhaps so! At least for a while until this seller clears. Notable that whenever buys are printed, a little while later some sells emerge. So my view is we are in the equivalent of the 30p days when anker / garraway were exiting.

Not too concerned with short term movements; I'm happy with how they are progressing and if they are able to keep even vaguely to the timetable we should do very nicely here. Couldn't tell you when precisely, but hopefully soon enough.

Plat ...

Turns out to be my best performing gold stock of the day in the end.

Then you sell out at the bottom ? I don’t get you . You just can’t hold anything for more than 5 minutes ? Good luck but it does make you look like a demented ramper when you jump into a share and you wonder why people stalk you ?

The latest pullback yesterday was industry wide although impacts the high cost producers more. The plans are in place. The worry is a reduction in excess cashflow due to declining gold prices. However, a small bounce this morning, maybe just a correction. The company seems to be in a good place with transparency being pushed up the agenda.

I refer my honourable friend to previous posts - it's not a short term punt, it's a fire and forget; you're stuck with it...

Fair description though.

Don't think so - if passed should get a jump but purely on technicals not looking good, next backstop 1802. Getting close already. Hoping for news by Friday.

$1793 FFS - dollar strength and no buyers for gold.

Gold has had a terrible run. So much for the $2,000 mark early new year. Lets hope the stimulus bill is passed asap!!

PM markets and shares are just mad, and wholly inconsistent at the moment.

Not in HOC anymore - pity... but even that had a near 10% fall this afternoon from the peak.

Ignore whatever I was saying about SRB and holding it - I've just flogged the 5,000 from this morning to buy back (some of) the FRES shares I sold then. Astonishing plunge there...

Still holding the SRB number that I started the day with.

:-)

Thanks PPVN , and good spots Tightfist and Tiger 60 .

Indeed , it looks like Coringa has slipped a fraction , but that may just be COVID and Brazil - remember the hooha we had with the preliminary licence last year ?

The interesting map on page 6 is new , showing the Tapajos region of Para State where Serabi operates , and illustrating the fairly significant land positions of Anglo-American ( MCap US$55bn ) , Eldorado Gold ( MCap US$2bn ) and Nexa Resources ( MCap US$1.1bn ) . Serabi even headlines it with " land grab by majors " . It is intriguing , for example , that Anglo American have the land both top and bottom of Serabi's exciting Sao Chico/Sao Domingos tenements , whilst , on page 3 , Serabi declares itself to be a " willing participant in accretive M&A " .

There is what looks like a fairly straight road connecting the Palito complex with Coringa 140km away to the South . Given Coringa's plant is initially oversized by around half , it did make me think whether higher grade ore from Sao Chico/Sao Domingos could be trucked to the Coringa plant economically , and ease the congestion , which is already apparent in the Palito plant ?

The aspirational chart of the shareprice on page 19 is also new , and quite a lot punchier than before . It shows Serabi's expectation of achieving a 450p shareprice when Coringa attains full production ( 2023 ? ) , and Palito achieves 50/- oz pa .

Whatever the reason for the 2020 presentations being air-brushed from the website , it is nevertheless very good to see Serabi on the front foot .
