Almost on a daily basis the price of gold closes at all time highs in local BRLs, closing yesterday at 6,836BRLs per oz, that's up 40% over the past year.

There is the contradiction. The vast majority of posters are holders and look for validation of their own actions. It becomes dangerous by which I mean numerous posts just reinforcing ones own convictions. Yet when someone highlights potential pitfalls they are shouted down.

In many ways it is the way the message is delivered but I have never sen a contrarian poster with many ‘thumbs up’ and there would be many times users would of benefited from listening.

At the end of the day the board postings are ways of dreaming about the fruition of ones investment whilst waiting for official news

I don’t buy a lottery ticket because I think I will win I buy it so I can dream that I can win.

Hi, we are near tipping point. The only thing keeping the markets up is the presidential election - Trump measures his success in office via market numbers. Even trying to change the powerful Fed committee but that is another story. He will do everything in his power to keep sentiment intact. In China the Corona virus is much worse than reported. Even provinces away from the epicentre are closing down with only one member per household allowed out at a time and they must wear masks (although they do absolutely sod all). Add that to the massive hidden debt pile regional provinces are sitting on it is a timebomb

The levels of debt in society are astronomical and now with the Corona virus there may be enough to change market exuberance. To me it is on a knife edge - bulls still having it their way and it might take the Dow hitting a headline figure of 30,000 to make people sit up and question why.

Of course it is all based on your point of view. From my perspective it is when not if but as ever it is getting the timing right that is the hardest part.

Put options poised. (dow now just 40 points down! Crazy. Gold 1575!)

Just to add traders are coining the phrase ‘whatever it takes 2’. If central banks around the world introduce further stimulus I think anyone under 25 will have a lot to be angry at. Another day....that can can’t be kicked much further...it must be at the end of the road by now

Yes Bomber, a great list - my money is on your (4) to light the blue touch paper - soon after 8 weeks, possibly add the Ore Sorter being put on-line and Coringa mine portal being established..I thought that Coringa meaningfully producing was pencilled-in for Q3 2021 - that will be part-way up a learning curve towards 38kOz pa - contribution in 2021? Let's have some fun - my guess is 16kOz........

Got a gut feeling POG about to bust through $1,600 Boris . CEY has broke 136 ; FRES broke 670 ; HUM looks like its about to breakout .. this and HGM would surely follow hopefully . Good luck .

In the next 6 to 8 weeks , we will have a confluence of potentially very good news -

1) General meeting to approve the Greenstone Convertible and give certainty to funding .
2) Updated and upgraded resource numbers at the Palito complex .
3) Second-round results from Sao Chico's step-out drilling , laterally and at depth .
4) First RC drilling results from the 3 significant anomalies 2 km West of Sao Chico .
5) Final results for the year ended December 2019 , and more ore sorter connotations .
6) Coringa's environmental permit .
7) Q1 production statistics from the Palito complex .

Lots and lots still to get excited about .
