27/7/2022 14:11 | All gone very quiet here the this week. No form 8.3 share holding notifications either... | haywards26
26/7/2022 12:38 | Good point, i meant either / or! | winnet
26/7/2022 11:10 | It cant be both Winnet !! | littlened
26/7/2022 10:14 | I sense from the inactivity on this board, or LSE and on Twitter that a lot of PIs have sold out on the expectation the deal won't go through and their brokers inability to handle the share transfer on the Canadian exchange. | winnet
24/7/2022 07:56 | That alone will or should, push the share price much closer to nav | winnet
23/7/2022 15:31 | Their should be questions asked about the co's position if it fails and hopefully he falls on his sword if the takeover fails | tnt99
23/7/2022 15:28 | It would say to me that this was a ridiculously low offer and undervalues the company but let's wait and see the reply early next weekOr what is going to happen???? | tnt99
22/7/2022 17:14 | Why on earth would a vote against, which stops shareholder value destruction, cause the share price to fall. I would imagine the opposite may be true? | winnet
22/7/2022 13:47 | 8p? A buying opportunity perhaps | dekle
22/7/2022 13:47 | 8p? A buying opportunity perhaps | dekle
22/7/2022 13:47 | 8p? A buying opportunity perhaps | dekle
22/7/2022 13:38 | if votes goes against will share price go back to 8p? | mirmqjuxwf
22/7/2022 12:12 | Yes, i have voted no today as well. I have seen this before where large orders are being filled hence off market transactions meaning the exchange is quiet / dead | winnet
22/7/2022 11:03 | Yes I expect so let's hope they hold out and don't screw us all I voted no it seems strange no sales going through the exchange today? | tnt99
22/7/2022 10:08 | TNT - you'd imagine they'd be talking to the other party to see what level off deal would be acceptable. | winnet
21/7/2022 12:20 | Amazing this is still trading where it is tbh! Cash flow this year should be very strong, lot of discoveries, if the deal is nixed a buyback, plus the not inconsiderable probability of a better bid in the near term. Ah well! | ppvn
20/7/2022 15:05 | Tenaz have plenty of cash,over $30m cad I think | littlened
20/7/2022 09:03 | Still await the new offer probably next week if they want to salvage the position 15p plus must be required to have any chance of success | tnt99
19/7/2022 10:27 | They wanted it at 11p for much the same reasons I wanted it at just above 8p. It was really cheap and they could liquidate it for more than the purchase price + get the Canadian tax losses. | 34adsaddsa
19/7/2022 08:52 | Tenza don't have the cash or production to increase the split without crashing their share price Puzzled as to why a North American company with a single asset in Canada think they know how to manage Egyptian and N. African O&G assets any better than SDX. Wonder if there could be a challenge to the current board for recommending such a poor offer. | dgarvey
19/7/2022 08:43 | Thank goodness this deal is dead and auld can't sell the company to his mate at mates rates!!Must be worth at least double the current price!! | tnt99
18/7/2022 16:03 | A generalisation for sure, but AIM O&G are akin to the casino in my experience over several failed investments. Hence my rule never to go there again. Problem is many of such entities have over paid snake oil CEO's, jam tomorrow forecasts...they usually struggle to get the resource out of the ground in a cost effective way. PI's are also up against truly being able to evaluate the fundamental value of an O&G entity, due to the highly technical aspects of such businesses. With location/jurisdictio | haywards26
18/7/2022 15:10 | Agreed, winnet. This comparison table was posted yesterday by chipperfrd on one of their threads: chipperfrd 17 Jul '22 - 21:28 - 9235 of 9235 Performance of LSE-listed O&G stocks YTD 2022 | pharmawotsit
18/7/2022 14:58 | There are some very good firms on AIM that trade Oil and Gas. TBH, this still is a good firm, just very badly managed. | winnet
18/7/2022 14:58 | Yes, by its regulatory nature, AIM has more risk than the larger indices. In general, AIM attracts start-up companies and few with actual sales. However, I am confident (and have evidence) that not all AIM O&G companies are flawed. The solid ones are few and far between, I'll grant you. If you'll excuse the pun, in my humble view a single brush doesn't tar them all. | pharmawotsit |
