06/4/2016 18:18 | Tesla has sky-rocketed since the February slump to $150. Now almost back to last year's July high at $265 and going ballistic after the furore of the new Model 3 announcement where orders for more than 275,000 units have already been placed, equating to $11billion of orders. More orders will undoubtedly follow. As at 29th. February ScoMo had a 4.2% portfolio holding of Tesla being ScoMo's 7th. largest investment. Since Tesla was about $150 at the end of Feb, compared to $265 today ( +c. 70%), it is likely that Tesla will be higher ranked when the March month-end figures are released. Additionally, Amazon has fully recovered its composure and now back at $600 from the fall to $475. ScoMo is back on track and moving ahead again convincingly after the Jan/Feb market shake-out. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa

'Several big brands like Google and Amazon are refusing to sell ivory. Yahoo is one of the few major online markets left.' This is from Avaaz where they are encouraging protest in good causes. imo | hazl

29/1/2016 08:49 | Interesting one today. Amazon rallied enormously yesterday and at close was up maybe 9% . But in after-hours , it traded back enormously as it had a small miss on analyst expectations on its Q4 numbers. According to my understanding, Amazon closed at $635 up by 9%. But in after-hours, it tumbled enormously by 13% to $550. All above figures approx. It is my understanding that ScoMo use CLOSING PRICES , not after-hours prices. It will be interesting to see what happens to their daily valuation announcement today. Because that after-hours movement in Amazon would make a noteable difference to daily valuations. ALL IMO.
