25/7/2013 08:13 | Share price up at the open on £5.78m Lockheed Martin contract and tie up with British Army. | lanzarote666
12/7/2013 22:15 | Up 6% on the launch of the first of 50 lifeboats - hxxp://www.scisys.co Must be more to it than that. Perhaps joining Eurospace is the bigger opportunity - hxxp://www.wiltsjour Expect a trading update soon. The trend is your friend... | lanzarote666
18/6/2013 12:47 | Thanks Jamesthetrain, an interesting article. I think it is more likely to go up than down from here though the usual advice to go away for the summer may mean some opportunities in the mid 60s over the next few months. I think the price will probably reach 80 by next Easter so it is a good bet for a 10% (or more) gain and a 2%+ dividend over a year. | balancer

17/4/2013 09:42 | Potential breakout if this momentum is maintained. | greedy rooster

21/3/2013 20:38 | This is a steady, dependable type of tech tock, which was given a 9 nap rating in the new years tips by Techinvest. | welsheagle
21/3/2013 20:09 | Very quiet here. But good results: -- Adjusted operating profit([1]) increased by 13% to GBP2.7m (2011: GBP2.4m) with adjusted operating margin([2]) up to 7% (2011: 6%); -- Adjusted earnings per share up to 7.1p (2011: 6.8p); -- Total revenue down by 7% to GBP39.5m (2011: GBP42.3m) due to reduction in low margin resale activity and foreign exchange movements; -- Professional fees revenue of GBP35.6m (2011: GBP36.9m), being in line with 2011 in constant currency terms; -- Net cash as at 31 December 2012 at GBP1.2m (2011: neutral); -- Annual dividend increased to 1.32p (2011: 1.21p) (subject to shareholder approval at the AGM). | deadly
25/1/2013 09:04 | Apologies for going off thread here with THAL. The reasons you give for not investing in THAL, or the same reasons I had for holding off until last week. Then they released an interesting (game changing?) contract win. Might be of interest. ic2... | interceptor2
25/1/2013 08:42 | I see it as a soundly run company and a steady grower, but nothing exciting. They should hopefully be presenting at the Mello FinnCap event in March, but my info's a couple of months out of date so things may have changed. I saw a Thalassa presentation in the summer. It's quite an interesting one, but I was left with the impression that they'd struggle to grow, and were dependent on a very small number of relationships, and business is very lumpy. | briangeeee
25/1/2013 08:23 | Fair enough guys...a traders scalp :-) FWIW I think they look a decent outfit but are close to fair value. Not an investment for me. Regards, GHF | glasshalfull
25/1/2013 08:19 | GrianGeeee, You are correct. The space division is 39% of revenue now looking at the last interim report, so larger than I said. I wasn't taking into account the large recent growth. Nothing wrong with SSY, infact I think they will perform well in the future, but I used funds released here to increase my exposure to THAL. Regards ic2... | interceptor2
24/1/2013 21:49 | I don't see why you think the space division is small, or that the other divisions aren't going well. Could you give me a pointer to what make you think this? | briangeeee
24/1/2013 18:27 | HI GHF, Ditto IC2's post above. Space division is the reason why we invested, unfortunately the other divisions are not going too well. Sold out with a 15% profit but only on a very small holding as i did want to build a decent sized holding if they were trading strongly. | cfro
24/1/2013 17:56 | Hi GHF I did sell my holdings here at the open yesterday, SSY have had a good run recently but I thought with the cautious tone of the recent update that I couldn't see much more upside for a while. The price should have good support with the company buying shares for treasury over the next few months. The space division is the exciting division imv, but still only a small part of the business, I will look for a catalyst later in the year which might allow me to invest here again. BTW, Have you looked at the KBC trading update today, I did buy in and it was one of those companies that the more I researched, the more I could see the potential. ic2... | interceptor2
24/1/2013 17:34 | Placed this on my watchlist following cfro & ic2's bullish commentary here and ZULU thread. I therefore take it from the lack of postings that you've departed these shores? Short term profit or did investment horizon change? Regards, GHF | glasshalfull
24/1/2013 12:40 | FinnCap,22-01-13,COR 2012 eps=6.80 2013 eps=8.30 Looks good to me | aishah
23/1/2013 17:04 | I decided to sell out based on the cautious trading statement and large increase within a short space of time. | jamielein
23/1/2013 16:43 | Thought that the in line trading statement and cautious outlook announced earlier this week may have seen more of a pull back here. Still in an uptrend? Seems to be under pinned by the share buy back programme - can anybody explain the background to this as it seems to be holding up the price? | lanzarote666
08/1/2013 17:33 | Tie up with the Environment Agency; | lanzarote666

08/1/2013 12:06 | SSY is Techinvest's top Nap tip for 2013 with a rating of 9. Should generate a bit of interest. | aishah
07/1/2013 18:13 | Yes very few shares in circulation fillipe as you say. Therefore any strong ts will see more investors get involved here. These are very much under investors radars. | cfro
07/1/2013 17:11 | ic2...agree with you completely. Better to do your own research and create your own tips rather than follow someone else. Maybe we should start a share tips website ourselves(!) | jamielein |
