Posted at 01/10/2024 07:47 by bamboo2 The decision to sell ONT piecemeal, rather than negotiate a block sale was unforgivable. Not only did they trash the ONT sp, they also trashed the INOV NAV. The resulting icing on the cake is significantly less cash in the INOV bank account. A kid could do better. |
Posted at 24/7/2024 15:23 by bamboo2 bd, INOV management must take some of the responsibility for driving down the ONT share price and directly causing a fall in their own NAV.Their policy seemed to be rather than wait, and sell into demand led strength, to get out piecemeal at any price. A few years ago, they could have placed the lot for a far higher return. |
Posted at 24/7/2024 15:09 by bdbd11 it seems to have been overlooked by the market that ONT has moved up strongly without any reaction from INOV. Let's hope our managers didn't sell too much of the ONT stake at the lows. |
Posted at 23/3/2024 09:33 by trollwatch The prospects for INOV are suddenly looking much better. 20p by end of July, I reckon.... |
Posted at 07/3/2024 12:15 by bdbd11 You'll all be aware ONT is the largest holding here (22%). After their solid results yesterday, today they announced director buying of circa half a million £, and the shares are up 11% as I write. Yet INOV is down on the day. Bizarre really. On that basis tomorrow's nav declaration should be up circa half a penny. I've topped up. |
Posted at 13/2/2024 18:03 by bamboo2 ollie, Thanks for checking the figures.I am not quite sure what happened there, somehow I actually got both figures wrong! Just shows, you don't want to believe anything you read on advfn! As far as I can see, the original point of the post stands, that is that the management here are reducing the ONT holding in a piecemeal fashion. Original read, As of 30 September 2023 ONT nav was £41.1m [21.6% of INOV p/f] ONT share price was 240p As of 30 June 2023 ONT nav was £44.0m [22.8% of INOV p/f] ONT share price was 217p Should read, As of 30 September 2023 ONT nav was £41.1m [21.6% of INOV p/f] ONT share price was 205.6p As of 30 June 2023 ONT nav was £44.0m [22.8% of INOV p/f] ONT share price was 213.20p ==================== Edit added 28/3/2024 As of 31 December 2023 ONT nav was £41.669m [20.8% of INOV p/f] ONT share price was 208.2p |
Posted at 19/10/2023 08:13 by chuckol Fantastic news from Oxford Nanopore. Should provide a big boost for INOV when the sleepyheads wake up to it. Do I feel sorry for our trolls, jonwig, spectoacc, topvest etc? Do I hell! |
Posted at 12/9/2023 13:28 by brianarthur1939 This announcement from last Friday is already having an effect on the share price Time to buy probably.... |
Posted at 30/8/2023 10:29 by wskill Looking at the holdings left in INOV are these the assets nobody would buy at any price or are these the best assets which they kept from the old woodford trust?,Discount looks tempting probably for a good reason. |
