15/9/2022 08:36 | HiAre these likely to increase to the value of the standard sdr shares prior to the 5 for 1 split? Thanks | danj1975

19/5/2022 09:26 | What a difference a day makes, yesterday morning my (previously set) alert was triggered at 2500 - now 2320 - not that I'm buying or selling at the moment. I guess that the inflation figures triggered the market drop? | peterbill
04/5/2022 15:46 | Yes, about 1% difference between the two and having sdr is a safer option just in case the vote won't pass (needing over 75% for both share classes) which will lead to sdrc down a lot and sdr up a lot. | ceaserxzy
04/5/2022 13:25 | I think the price is now quite close as voting shareholders will get a bonus issue of 3 new shares for every 17 held which is 17.6%. I purchased the SDR shares today rather than the SDRC shares, but I'm not sure that it will make much difference long-term. | topvest
02/5/2022 12:06 | There is currently a difference in the share price of SDR and SDRC - currently SDRC is around 20% cheaper. So I'm happy to be holding mine to see how this pans out. | peterbill
28/4/2022 07:53 | Good update for SDR today. | deadly
26/4/2022 12:48 | Yes that's true although the discount was even wider than normal and you received a very generous dividend while you waited - opportunities don't come round like that so often! | riverman77
26/4/2022 11:30 | Was so undervalued, but that could have continued for years so a welcome result. | deadly
26/4/2022 10:07 | Thanks riverman77 , essential investor & peter bill bought on your comments last month. A long standing Nick Train investment, so thought good value. Receiving a nice dividend as well. | giltedge1
26/4/2022 08:58 | value hound - Thanks - Was totally of my radar - A pity. Well done those that were/are holding. | pugugly
26/4/2022 08:23 | Yes the discount that still remains will reflect the dilution from the new share issuance. Also sold out this morning as was mainly holding for the discount which I think is now largely gone. Still decent value here though with a good dividend and solid company. | riverman77
26/4/2022 08:18 | Sold out today with a nice profit. Dilution on the way putting pressure on dividends. Looking to reinvest elsewhere for a better long term yield. Maybe LGEN or MNG. | frederickbloggs
26/4/2022 08:05 | The ords are £29 though - or are they effectively less due to dilution? The C shares still yield 5%???? | boystown
26/4/2022 07:54 | As previously flagged, there was massive hidden value in the non voting shares - today's announcement unlocks most of that value. | riverman77
26/4/2022 07:23 | Up 32% on no news - ?? Takover rumour ?? Nothing on Google. Thoughts/Knowledge? | pugugly
18/3/2022 14:36 | NAV?, not an insurance company. Earnings, yield etc. Best to look at these on a bad day. | essentialinvestor
17/3/2022 22:01 | You don't really value fund managers off their net assets - they are capital light businesses (since they invest other people's money, not their own) so should be priced off their earnings. | riverman77
17/3/2022 20:17 | So still a 6.2% yield at 2005p right? Quite a premium to NTAV though acc' to Morningstar; is that usual for a fund manager? | boystown
17/3/2022 17:01 | Very nice day. Surprised they got that low down. | essentialinvestor
17/3/2022 16:58 | Why would anyone buy the ordinary shares when the C shares are 40% cheaper and pay the same dividend? I thought there must be some catch, but apparently not. Looks a real bargain as Schroders are a quality outfit - strong performance, solid inflows, well diversified by client and asset class, and good progress in moving into higher margin areas (private assets, wealth management, etc). Surprised how incredibly quiet this board is too, although that's probably a good thing. | riverman77
16/3/2022 16:48 | SDR - Dividend yield: 3.54% SDRC - Dividend yield: 6.09% looks like SDRC is the better buy for income investors ... | peterbill |
