08/11/2016 07:14 | Nice RNS. Moz back in play and scoping study in 3-4 months.Banking studies after that, might be a race between this and Oman to see what produces first. | broncowarrior
04/11/2016 09:21 | Yes it was the presentation in Muscat I was referring to. I did see the tweet on the website. Since they were presenting to potential backers I thought maybe they gave a full presentation of the work they are doing and since it's 5 months since the previous presentation there might have been a new one. What you say makes some sense, so thanks again. | ged5
04/11/2016 08:54 | Ged5, not sure what presentation you are referring to in particular. I think the excerpt you had taken referred to a half hour presentation by DA to a recent mining conference held in Muscat (day after the RT merger was announced from memory). I have not seen any recording of it or heard anything about it. Tweet on the website refers to an important day of presentations, so may be further discussions with backers / financing options. They are unlikely to publish those at this point, if ever. | inbrackets
04/11/2016 08:39 | Apologies for posting a link to old news yesterday. However I presume the presentation given in mid October is an updated one and as yet I haven't seen it. Is there one published? | ged5
04/11/2016 07:49 | Agree that it will be broken, but has always been the recent resistance level. Will be good if we test above it today and by the year end and on the back of the numerous RNS's then I've pencilled in 5.5-6p for the year end close. The good times are just starting and the next 18 months will be transformational. | seagullsslimjim
03/11/2016 23:01 | 4.5p.... That will be history at some stage, whenever it may happen. As things progress, evolve and are revealed, one of the biggest satisfactions is the vindication of the original belief a number of years ago in the project and management team. | inbrackets
03/11/2016 22:16 | even 2.2 is probably twice the industry average, but anymore is always welcome. lets see if we can break the 4.5p glass ceiling for good this time ?! | seagullsslimjim
03/11/2016 22:02 | Clearly those are max best grades; what is key is that they can up the tonnage and grade beyond the 2.2 at the moment. Makes it much easier to finance. | broncowarrior
03/11/2016 21:21 | The Copper levels are 47m at 6% and 10m at 10% which are exceptional levels of Cu. One of the largest mining companies in the Nordic countries (and very profitable)is mining Cu at less than 0.5% but in large volume | teemore
03/11/2016 14:42 | (Thank you)! So what I thought might be a hindrance might be a blessing. :) | ged5
03/11/2016 14:29 | Ged5, drill targets in Finland due to be announced before end 2016. I understand, Bizarrely, winter months better as ground hard and mud is frozen.Nice read in the article, even if slightly out of date as Block 6 relinquished earlier in year. Big rns will be the financials, but plenty of follow through with Moz and Finland. | inbrackets
03/11/2016 14:21 | I'm new to SAV having put some in my ISA these past few months. I hope for many multiples of 5p over the next couple of years. Although late 2017 is the target for production in Oman being an AIM company I suspect sometime in 2018 is more likely. We should also have a mine in Mozambique by then. Time to build a reasonable holding. Finland could be exciting but still early stages. Snow has come early this year in Helsinki. It didn't arrive until 28th December last year. I don't know how that will affect work there since presumably the snow will be heavier further North. On the move? | ged5
03/11/2016 14:15 | and up she goes :-) | seagullsslimjim
03/11/2016 13:51 | and touching the bottom of the upward channel on the main chart above With the expected newsflow from now till the year end on multiple fronts then the mid 5's is more than viable. Once the Moz license is finally issued by the mining ministry, then that will be worth a couple of pence max on its own and as was witnessed on its original announcement in June 2015. That will come as and when and as per the recent RNS to that effect. Good times ahead !!! | seagullsslimjim
03/11/2016 13:40 | "These are some of the highest grades in the world with extraordinary levels of zinc" 32% copper 30% zinc Thanks for sharing! | ged5
03/11/2016 13:30 | Full article here of todays Share magazine article. Pretty average magazine but you can't deny that the right up is impressive ! | seagullsslimjim

03/11/2016 10:33 | Thank you! Anyone going to admit to being a subscriber? :) | ged5
03/11/2016 10:28 | for unregistered users it shows the following snippet.... "A tiny AIM-quoted mining company on 31 October published some of the best exploration results we’ve ever seen for a copper project on the UK stock market. It’s not a one-off discovery, either. Savannah Resources (SAV:AIM) has been churning out amazing results for some time which gives us confidence there is plenty of high-grade mineralisation across its project in Oman. Impeccable timing ..." | seagullsslimjim
03/11/2016 09:40 | "Several presentations were made by Savannah Resources, Alara Resources and Curtis and key speakers at the conference included Dr Fabio Scacciavillani, Chief Strategist of Oman Investment Fund, Willem Middelkoop, Founder of Commodity Discovery Funds and Henry Antwi, Head of Mining and Metals at Oman Oil Company." hxxp://timesofoman.c The only presentation on the website is from May. Maybe a new one later. What does the shares mag reveal? It seems to have prompted a little buying. | ged5
03/11/2016 09:14 | thanks for the link the next year is going to be news filled fun !!! | seagullsslimjim
03/11/2016 09:13 | If you are a subscriber to Shares magazine (I ain't).... hxxp://www.sharesmag Sub-heading: "AIM’s best-kept secret produces stellar exploration results" | robards
31/10/2016 14:24 | Seagull, virtually every report from share price Angel has written on SAV has included the caveat that it is stretching itself a bit thin, and the rest always seems to be a cut and paste from the rns.Not sure that they look too far beyond the dust cover and reviews of the book as they rather clearly haven't bothered to read up and understand the Omani dynamics here. | inbrackets
31/10/2016 14:11 | SP Angel - "It will take some effort to build a mine and plant for production in Oman" ! there is already a copper processing plant/concentrator in our block and I thought they were going for shallow mining first for a quick initial return to help fund more expensive recovery later down the line ? | seagullsslimjim
31/10/2016 13:05 | A viewpoint from share price Angel:- "Conclusion: While these are good looking results it is normal to drill relatively high grade mineralisation in VMS projects where they are found. Savannah has stated it wishes to fast-tracking its Oman projects for late 2017 copper concentrate production and we hope the joint venture partners in Oman, Al Thuraya LLC (Block 4) and Al Fairuz Mining (Block 5) will contribute to the capital cost of a copper concentrator and that sufficient water is available to support its operation. Savannah is aiming for 151,500-702,500to of contained copper and 55,000-362,000oz of gold. It will take some effort to build a mine and plant for production in Oman and with a new lithium project in Finland and a mineral sands jv in Mozambique the company may be stretching itself a bit thin." hxxp://www.proactive Some very good copper grades though! | ged5 |
