It is the Fastmarkets battery materials event later this month. Savannah is in attendance. Hopefully something comes of that, it is about time the European car companies did a few deals on the lithium front. Surely VW is the obvious one.

Personally, I would prefer to see someone who has the financial muscle to enter into talks in an off-take agreement. I'm ok with a full sale only if we receive 30/40 Cent!
Otherwise, I am perfectly ok with going the distance and I would imagine many of the long-term investors would agree with my view!

With 11m in the bank, where's the rest coming from to get operational and producing. Yes, off-take agreements can be struck to include financing but with the grab to ensure supply and be less reliant on China, will they get that far before a bid is tabled. iF the story is correct Aethel have popped their head above water in this respect. The CEO has publicly stated in an online presentation that they have about 40-50 enquires to sort through. Will one of the big boys want the lot or will they survive through to production and share the spoils through various off take agreements. That is the speculative question.

Why would they accept any offer? Even if it takes 3/4 years to start producing Lithium! The future looks very bright for Savannah and the rewards will come with patients.

IB your LSE post, had the same stalking horse thoughts, a Michael Heseltine, then a John Major strikes from nowhere but with more charisma of course :)All total speculation until we get We note the current press comments, RNS released and but that's looking highly unlikely at present. I think the Aethel story has been repeated in 3 or 4 Portuguese news outlets.

All speculation at this point. No denial or confirmation as yet.

Which other tenements are you thinking? If it's the ones in Portugal then we have to wait until the auction. Not sure how long we've been waiting.

Although Dale Ferguson seems to get things done, I'm not sure I could go through all this again and SAV haven't actually produced anything.

I think that if there's any legs in this, it'll be an asset sale rather than buying out Sav. Sav have the personnel and experience to repeat the process with a new tenement. Very exciting times ahead

Too late for that, I think I've already made my mind up about the tweet and the article. Trisse is no stranger to SAV.

I do like your way of thinking though. Certainly as SAV make their way through the various stages especially the DFS then I think others may well show their hand.

Fortunately we don't have to make any appraisal of whatever they come up with. The main thing is that this is the first head to show above the parapet following the DIA and fundraise, confirming DFs comments of wide interest. Just yesterday CATL launched their LFP 700km battery with a 10min 400km recharge, so an iron producer may not be so far out there, and their ethos is of these ESG times, plus operates in Portugal, so let's watch the space.It will force others out of the woodwork and hopefully they have been sharpening the lead over the 'summer'. It should prompt wider commentary regards SAV, and that can only be a good thing.
