Agree with you here. Hoping for a positive decision as this would confirm that the foundations are in. They then will need to build out with the next stage being the updated scoping study, each progressive stage hopefully adding at the same time as reducing the risk discount. Can but hope that they haven't taken the past 10 months to work out a way of getting round the legislation and manage to kick the decision down the road again.

It is almost like they have only done one company presentation in the last two years and not been tom many industry events.

Tick tock, you can almost guarantee that something will go wrong for tomorrow. It wouldn't be Portugal or Sav if it went smoothly.

I agree George and the timing couldn't be more perfect. Over the past couple months we've seen Goldman Sachs completely pull a 180 on their thoughts on lithium. The spot price has boomed from 170K yuan to 300K in a month and is showing no signs of slowing down. Given that SAV is under the radar...I think once the news hits (and it will spread all over the lithium world - lets not forget - this green light will be for a TRADITIONAL MINE in EUROPE! It will have a chance at being 1ST to market and the official stepping stone for Europe's energy independence...

The FOMO will be real, IMO.

The only thing I see preventing a big rally could be whatever adjustments the APA makes that SAV must abide by...if there is any reason to believe that SAV won't agree on the terms or that they're too difficult to implement, etc...I could see that impacting it...but I think its more likely than not that it'll be minor stuff.

I would think SAV has plans lined up for post-approval too. We could see a small run of catalysts, to include the eventual DFS sooner rather than later. Things that have been done in advance that were contingent on EIA approval. Who knows.

Only 2 more trading days between us now and when we MUST get the news!!! Can't hardly sit still.

Yes, likely right. But given Sav has managed to miss the entire bull market in lithium I still think there is room for a decent rally.

An updated feasibility study will use prices around 2-3 times higher than what was used in the pfs. This alone will suddenly highlight how economic this mine could be.

Also it has been touted as being extremely green, in terms of low carbon, and will be one of the few based in Europe. Surely Portugal is more politically stable than Africa and an asset will command a premium valuation.

Anyway this time next week we should know. Amazingly little interest in the company given news is so close.

As I've said before this is another area I hope Sav management change (if we get the green light) more presentations, off take deals, bang the drum a bit!

It is positive the management do have a fair bit of skin in the game, and was good to see them buy some recently (1,6M).

If the news is what we all want. I think the reaction will still be subdued in this market. No where near what it would be in a risk on environment
