11/10/2017 13:50 | I see a placing at 4.50 I hear 4. Just takes to long to recover! I love D.A and Sav but right it's to far away. Smarter quicker cash to be made for now, you have only got to look at the history! and for that reason ... | nick9013
11/10/2017 12:49 | Don't you think the placing will be done sooner? There's loads of work to be done in Portugal. After all they've only drilled in 3 parts of 1 tenement and there's 4 tenements. I'm sure the Lithium projects will be bigger than Oman and even Mozambique. | ged5
11/10/2017 09:54 | Not necessarily! Production from Portugal maybe 2019/2020 but that doesn't preclude prepayments from battery/auto manufacturers. I still think any placing will used to prove up Mina Do Barroso. Once it's known there's good grade Lithium in quantity I wouldn't be surprised if there's a queue at SAV's door. Since that could happen before year end/early 2018 it would be before Oman production. Thanks for your thoughts - appreciated. | ged5
10/10/2017 15:14 | We all knew a placing was needed it's just the choice of broker that's surprised us. This smacks of desperation but I don't mean that in a derogatory way. David Archer has more shares than many of us put together. He also knows the potential of the project in Portugal. I think he's desperate to have a JORC resource for Mina do Barroso, so he can tell us about offtake agreements and/or up front payments. Without the JORC he has no bargaining power. Al Marjan are fully loaded; the directors have done their bit with recent buying; he's probably contacted all his mates and finally had to resort to working with this bunch again. He's probably no happier than we are, but has weighed up the short term pain against the exciting future prospects. I think that to have forged this alliance now, we will have income from Portugal before we have production from Oman. Then we can say goodbye for good! | ged5
10/10/2017 14:26 | I think they can get 5mm away at 4.5-5p I can live with that. They need to deploy some capital against at least 3 of these projects in the short term. | broncowarrior
10/10/2017 12:16 | paleje correct bucket shop indeed. Not usually a good sign when the door is opened to those pariahs. | soulsauce
10/10/2017 12:09 | Ditto. They had a hand in the Feb placing, not always bad depends on circumstances but if there's weakness in co or management they'll take advantage imo. I won't be adding til the way ahead's a bit clearer. | paleje
10/10/2017 11:48 | He cut ties with a previous equity funder, he is well aware of the damaging impact they generally have on the share price. Fingers crossed. | broncowarrior
10/10/2017 10:46 | duplicate deleted | paleje
10/10/2017 10:46 | Bucket shop, Bronco. Experts in lowball placings, really surprised we're using them..or should that be the other way round them using us:) Hope not. DA must know of their reputation. | paleje
10/10/2017 09:51 | Why do you say that Paleje? | broncowarrior
10/10/2017 07:44 | Oh dear. Beaufort. | paleje
09/10/2017 22:20 | 12 months I'm back in. | nick9013
09/10/2017 15:50 | I would just try to raise as much as possible to get all of these projects accelerated. Most raises to date have added value, not just gone to pay director salaries. Try and raise 5-10mm. | broncowarrior
09/10/2017 15:18 | An imminent placing would certainly explain the selling Ged. There's a lot going on so it wouldn't be surprising if they'd like a bit more dosh. I've been hoping that a sale of the Finnish assets might do the trick but that's probably wishful thinking. | hiddendepths
09/10/2017 12:59 | Yet another interview from Directors Talk on the website this morning, hiddendepths. With the drift in SP, it makes one wonder if another placing is about to be announced. On the other hand the chart is ripe for a reversal. Hmm, short term choices! | ged5
09/10/2017 11:38 | If this gets any weaker I won't be able to restrain myself. Talk about under the radar! | hiddendepths
07/10/2017 12:55 | Thanks IB. I forgot some investors read Shares Magazine. They've done some good articles about SAV. None of them do Manchester any more. Proactive used to but I don't think there was enough support. I used to enjoy them. | ged5
07/10/2017 12:22 | Ged, hi. I understand it's a week on Thursday. Promoted by AJ Bell, can't remember off hand which hotel but definitely in the City. It's a half hour slot running alongside a couple of other companies. 6pm to 8.30/9 pm. I haven't googled it but presume it will pop up if sought for. | inbrackets
07/10/2017 10:22 | Will someone who posts on the LSE please inform Muldoon that David Price is mentioned on page 4 of the last investor presentation. I understand that he's well thought of within the company. Being exploration manager in Oman, he should know a thing or two about the assets there. Looking forward to his presentation. Am I the only one who doesn't know about a forthcoming investor evening? Details please! | ged5
05/10/2017 14:14 | Going back to the first of yesterday's tweets which linked to the CNBC article "But trading lithium is no easy task. "There's very few ways to play the space. You've got to provide investors with the opportunity to play this revolution that's happening in the transportation business and energy business," Paes-Braga said. Traders can buy the physical metal but there is not yet a single lithium commodities exchange in existence." Remember this from post 89 "Matt Chamberlain Chief Exec of LME was talking on Sky News earlier. Expects to launch Lithium exchange within next 12-18 months." Come on CNBC you could have mentioned this. Stay informed and read this thread (or watch Sky News). ;)) | ged5 |
