as we approach the Report and likelihood of updated news and with the appearance of some big buyers yesterday, to remind what we're getting excited about:

- Output from OML18 likely to surge by a third on completion of new pipeline (before end 2019)
- Billion barrels of oil, trillion cubic feet of gas
- No creditors
- heaving bank balance c.$50m
- $170m more cash by end 2020
- Strategy of continuing cash back to shareholders
- negotiations with NNPC re acquisition of bigger interest in OML18
- service revenues

Oh wow so now we know it’s SLEs partner in OML18 who paid over the odds to get a bigger slice of the action. Nobody knows more about the situation than them I’m buying now and amazed this isn’t up strongly today. AIM punters are a weird bunch.

First of all, it was a 9million share bargain. The reporting of 18m shares is typical double-count reporting. Secondly, it has been evident since the second week of the month that a big buyer has been in the market, and they have ended up paying a 5% premium to yesterday's closing price, and a full 10% premium to when the buying started around 10 May, for today's majority block at 41.5p. Clearly, an ambitious buyer is the driver of this transaction, not an anxious seller.
