The Bloomberg article continues

The numbers are staggering. China had about 99 percent of the 385,000 electric buses on the roads worldwide in 2017, accounting for 17 percent of the country’s entire fleet. Every five weeks, Chinese cities add 9,500 of the zero-emissions transporters—the equivalent of London’s entire working fleet, according to Bloomberg New Energy Finance.

It goes on to say that these electric buses are reducing oil demand by 233,000 barrels a day. A day! When you add in the oil saved by electric cars and light trucks that rises to 277,000 a day.

That’s the equivalent of about 7.5% of Shell’s daily production.

Healthcare Locums investors be 'wiped out' in refinancing
Investors in Healthcare Locums, the troubled medical recruitment group that suspended trading in its shares in January, could be wiped out under a refinancing deal being put together by Toscafund.

………;……..

there is one certainty if there is any money to be made it will be made by TOSCA.

let's have a look at a previous Tosca purchase, Healthcare Locums and then u can decide for yourself how much faith u want to place in their trading.

19.10.10 increased their holding above 5% price at time 131p
02.12.10 increased their holding above 12% price at time 97p
23.12.10 increased their holding above 15% price at time 120p

the price then fell off the cliff because what the market had been told was a load of Fanny.

they then took place in a heavily discounted placing, the company shareholders were finally put out of their misery

Small Cap Value Report (17 Nov 2015) - CDOG, IDOX ...
www.stockopedia.com/.../small-cap-value-report-17-nov-2015-cdog-ido...
17 Nov 2015 - It's fair to say that Tosca has a very mixed track record, including some real howlers, like Cupid, Healthcare Locums, and others. .... quite soon afterwards, the wheels come off, and investors end up losing most of their money.

Nigeria’s oil exports have suffered another setbacks as Aiteo Eastern Exploration and Production Company has again shut down its 150,000 barrels per day- capacity, Nembe Creek Trunk Line (NCTL) less than 24 hours after reopening the facility.
The company said yesterday that after repairs of identified leak points occasioned by activities of oil thieves, two new leak points were reported along the same line near the Awoba Riser Manifold.

“Our emergency response process was immediately activated, and containment boom deployed to limit oil spread on bodies of water whilst efforts to identify cause of the incident/repair have been initiated.
“Consequently, all injectors have been advised in accordance with NCTL shutdown procedure to shut-in production into the NCTL immediately. Appropriate Oil Leakage/Spillage Notification Report will follow shortly to DPR/NOSDRA” the company said in a statement issued by its spokesman, Mr. Matthew Indiana.
Hours before the latest incident, the indigenous oil giant, had restated its commitment to its host community after a section of the Nembe Community, Bayelsa State converged, without prior notice, and barricaded the entrance to the company’s logistics base.
Ndiana said the incident interrupted normal work operations even after the intervention of the state’s security task force.
He said that following a protracted engagement with them, they agreed to disband, while leaving behind representatives to present their demands to the company.
“These disturbances disrupt our operations and lead to production deferment, which affects not just the company but revenues accruing to the government and people of Nigeria.
“Aiteo reiterates her commitment to continuing to work with her host communities to achieve an amicable relationship. Moreover, the Nembe community provides most of the supply, logistics and security contracts going into our local operations.
“Apart from encouraging community participation in this manner, the company has, in addition, continued to provide considerable amenities and services directly to the community in a most beneficial and impactful way.
“Hence, we remain open and are committed to constructive dialogue for the development of both the nation and the community” the company added.
Aiteo reiterated that it takes several layers of engagement to get key deliverables to the community as the asset is operated under a joint venture with NNPC, noting that key decisions must be made upon due consultation with all stakeholders.
“We appeal to our host communities, our partners in development, to patiently await the final outcome of ongoing processes initiated to implement sustainable development for all parties” the company added.
The Aiteo-operated NCTL and the Trans Niger Pipeline (TNP) are the two major pipelines used by oil companies operating in the eastern Niger Delta to evacuate crude oil to export terminals.
Aiteo had shut down the NCTL located around Oil Mining Lease (OML) 29 on April 21, following a fire outbreak, and Shell declared force majeure on exports on Bonny Light grade of crude oil on April 25 due to the closure of the pipeline.
The pipeline was reopened on Friday before the latest incident occurred

LD - am a new investor in SLE and have taken a reasonable position. all AIM hydrocarbons explorers are pretty high risk but i was attracted by the spread of interesting assets being brought forward here. with a market cap under $100m now, this stock looks to me (and a number of like-minded fellow investors of mine) substantially risk-priced and offering big upside on news coming through. i appreciate your valuable research and insight. I do find SLE interesting on several levels, some are

why posters waste their life making comments about other posters, does it make them feel better ?

how a share in the short term is a voting machine but in the long term a weighing
machine

that I thought all the deranged people were safely locked away under supervision, wrong in spades there

no matter what the management do, people still come back for more

no share falls in a straight line because even the stupid people would spot that and sell.

if anyone thinks that comments made on a poxy bulletin board affects the share price, shows how deranged people are amongst us, so beware.

My average sits somewhere around £5-6. I will happily sell out at £4. My situation is now a million miles from what it was back in 2011. Having recently started a family the funds from this sale would have a massive impact on our lives. This would be a real bonus as I had very little expectation here and all but written it off.

………;……̷0;.

more made up nonsense from linksdean, crikey > having recently started a family < if only. oh dear how low can u go ?
