03/7/2019 07:33 | Imperial3, yes if they get and new inspirational CEO, however it would still be a very difficult sector. Aldi and Lidl are game changers. They will stop growing eventually however I think you would need to be Mystic Meg to know at what percentage of the market that will be. I do not think it is any good looking at the last cycle for that percentage. Coupe is a self serving clown. Finally, they are doing completely the wrong thing selling their freeholds of the larger stores. | konradpuss

02/7/2019 18:06 | No probs, Tim, just the way I read it. Anyway, Q1 tomorrow. Little bit concerned about margins with all the offers they've been dishing out. Must fill up the missus' car with 10p off before the deadline. Every penny counts, as their competitor used to say, which is why I'm filthy rich ;). | poikka

02/7/2019 15:57 | Polkka. Was not lecturing you, apologies if it came over that way was just pointing out my opinion that they do a good job in supporting autistic people. | tim 3
02/7/2019 15:55 | And I have always been of the opinion that Sainsbury's do a grand job in employing and supporting people with learning difficulties. | poikka
02/7/2019 15:53 | time3, I your haste to condemn and sound righteous, you missed my point which was that if they're going to proudly support LGBT+, then they should include every other minority group. Personally, I'm sick of hearing and reading of the term when there are so many other minority groups which should receive equal recognition - if that's the route society wants to go down. And you absolutely have no need to lecture me on autism, and I won't say more than that. | poikka
02/7/2019 13:50 | Current valuations! FTSE is massively undervalued lol (due to external pressures (our stupid leaders and the fear of Commy Corbyn). If we ever get a decent government, todays prices are a giveaway, | chiefbrody
02/7/2019 13:34 | Sainsburys has always done a lot to support people with learning difficulties and Autism. They are perfectly capable of doing many of their jobs and once trained they become loyal members of the team. Personally I think they should be commended for it. | tim 3

01/7/2019 10:08 | Loganair - "Sainsbury's is better off trying to differentiate itself from the discounters by giving shoppers a better customers experience when shopping and better quality foods." That is exactly what they are doing. Obviously, they can't refresh all stores at once. Nothing wrong with the quality. | poikka
