The Sage Group plc. (the "Company") announces that Notice of the thirty-third Annual General Meeting ("Notice of AGM") of the Company is now available on the Company's website and can be accessed via www.sage.com/investors/

The Annual General Meeting of The Sage Group plc. will be held at our Solicitors' office, Allen & Overy LLP, One Bishops Square, Spitalfields, London E1 6AD, on Thursday, 4 February 2021 at 12 noon.

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19) and compulsory government measures put in place by the UK Government, to safeguard the health and safety of our shareholders, colleagues and wider communities the Board has decided, in line with current legislation, that shareholders will not be permitted to attend the Annual General Meeting in person this year. Shareholders must register their vote in advance of the Annual General Meeting by appointing the Chairman of the Annual General Meeting as proxy, with voting instructions.

We are keen to engage with our shareholders on the business of the Annual General Meeting and have made a number of arrangements to support this. Full details of Annual General Meeting arrangements can be found in the Notice of AGM.

In accordance with Listing Rules 9.6.1R, a copy of the Notice of AGM and related Proxy Form have been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism

The following documents have been dispatched to the Company's shareholders today, 10 December 2020:

   -      The Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 30 September 2020; 
   -      Notice of AGM; and 
   -      Related Proxy Form.
