19/12/2007 14:27 | They have had years of revaluing properties upwards - they find it a little difficult going the other way | hybrasil
17/12/2007 22:46 | You may be right. Sentiment is more negative again. | vassily
17/12/2007 15:14 | I suspect you will see a sharp downward correction in this price shortly | hybrasil
19/11/2007 22:54 | hybrasil: The 1 pound is coming. | vassily
16/11/2007 11:35 | Take £100 million off the value of the properties. Why yesterday I was offered property in the centre of Glasgow at a 20% discount to the price of 8 weeks ago. The majority of safestores property that I have seen are in secondary locations This gives a property valuation of £398 million. The liablities (excluding the deferred tax liabilty as presumably that wont apply given the reduction in value) come to £340m. That doesnt leave a lot of equity. I stress that this is my look at the accounts and I could be completely wrong | hybrasil
09/11/2007 15:59 | its still coming | hybrasil
19/10/2007 09:30 | £1.00 coming. | hybrasil
13/9/2007 15:14 | I've just returned to this & realsied it may well not be clear. I owned shares in Safestore three(ish) years ago before it was bought be management. At the time, I was very disappointed as I felt that the management got it for a song. | fr4dge
13/9/2007 12:19 | I used to own these before. At the time, I complained long & hard that management were getting it on the cheap. Anybody have any idea how the value now compares with the price it was taken private? | fr4dge
16/8/2007 18:21 | Not far off 1.47 today. Yield is rising. | vassily
15/8/2007 10:33 | Those options are a completye disgrace. £1.47. If thats what the directors think these shares are worth I am not far wrong on the price | hybrasil
01/8/2007 22:31 | I look forward to the lower price. | vassily
01/8/2007 21:23 | AT a share price of £1.00 this would yield 4.5%. Thats about right. I have since the start of this thread said this share is way overvalued. Stupidly I doide not follow my own advice and short it which I will now do. With falling property values this can only go one way. | hybrasil
01/8/2007 08:49 | I would venture to suggest it will be many years before this reaches £2.40 again. If you go to old fashoned vales this should be at a discount to £1.01!! | hybrasil
31/7/2007 22:45 | Yeah 2.40 seems a long way off now, but it was only earlier this year. D'oh. | vassily
31/7/2007 07:16 | And still it falls | hybrasil
30/7/2007 07:29 | well martin did you buy back in? | hybrasil

17/7/2007 21:41 | bought yesterday at 187.75p and closed today at 193p. | joeainsworth
16/7/2007 12:16 | who could safestore realistically bid for in this area ? | jrjr99
14/7/2007 01:07 | Dont be silly jrjr99 its overvalued at this price so hybrasil says...... Didnt get my shares the other day but never mind made a few quid and will wait to see if it breaks 1.90 before investing again or will get back in at 1.80 Have a great weekend all | martincoops
