Very little downside at 1.2m Mkt Cap. Our new billionaire may just offload the current business and use the PLC as the vehicle for one of his massive ventures. Disruptive technology is the name of the co not old fashioned boilers .

Hey, I am not suggesting this is his vehicle in that Iceland deal. What I am suggesting is Edi is already moving in clean / renewable energy industry.. he just invested here and same time new director says wants exploit a form of Sabiens tech in USA energy efficiency markets.

Edi obviously has a plan, which we will soon find out.

But undoubtedly it would be amazing if it was lol

The only way Sabien will make decent money is if they sell something other than their massively flawed M2G unit.

A key business test for Boris Johnson's government awaits, and it's nothing to do with Brexit. Financier Edi Truell, who runs private equity firm Disruptive Capital and was Boris's pensions adviser when he was mayor of London, anxiously awaits government approval of his £2.5bn Atlantic Superconnection project.Atlantic Superconnection plans to pipe electricity from power plants in Iceland that use renewable energy to north-east England via a cable. The project has cleared Icelandic regulatory hurdles but needs the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) to grant it "offshore generator" status so it can sell electricity at subsidised prices.Truell says the cable will create 800 jobs in the north-east. But former business secretary Greg Clark dragged his feet on giving it the green light and its fate is now in the hands of his successor, Andrea Leadsom. "Edi supported Leadsom's ill-fated 2016 Tory leadership bid so he's hopeful his political allies come good," says our spy."We are continuing to push on with the Atlantic Superconnection project, though given the holiday season little has happened on the BEIS front in the last few weeks," Truell tells Capital. "We continue to believe it will bring enormous benefits to the UK in terms of green baseload power."

barnes read the RNS comment below, new board appointments will be telling us where it's heading next..I believe that there is an opportunity to create a next-generation technology platform, pivoted around Sabien's core technology, that can exploit global energy efficiency markets, especially in the US.
