11/11/2024 10:54 | Just think about it, what is there to take over;1) A lot of very expensive staff, on long contracts, with share options. A long list of expensive redundancy payments. 2) a business declining at 15% per annum for the previous 2 years. Makes no bottom line profit and generates no cash.3) £180m of debt with a tiny amount of hard tangible assets As you all say. A takeover is pie in the sky!! | wallywoo

11/11/2024 08:22 | Sfor has just over 1% of shares short. That's not even in the top 100 of significant short percentages.S4's problem is selling out by ordinary shareholders. Rampers are all over this to try and balance the book, but ultimately have failed. When you have 3x the number of shares in issue as 6 years ago (and still issue new shares all the time), and are still not making profits or generating cash. This is what happens. | wallywoo

08/11/2024 19:08 | Better systems and day to day management than S4Cap but essentially their clients are spending more! However the overriding issues were a strong 2023, weak tech spend on marketing and the inability of S4Cap to grow any more given the low valuation | hades1
08/11/2024 18:32 | So the question must be asked, what is Stagwell doing that S4 is not? | rikky72
08/11/2024 17:37 | Upsetting as SMS mistakenly rejected 85p this time last year or earlier this year from Stagwell? SMS must have some angry Institutional shareholders after yesterday’s shocker. Stagwell Posts Eight Percent Organic Growth in Q3 Advertising group Stagwell posted its Q3 financial results this week, reporting eight percent year-on-year growth in organic net revenues, alongside 15 percent growth in total revenues. CEO and chairman Mark Penn said a large part of the growth came from its digital transformation business, as clients look to integrate AI solutions into their consumer engagement. “New business momentum, robust performance from digital transformation, and the culmination of a political season that broke fundraising records, gives us confidence that our vision is resonating with customers, and sets the stage for a strong close to H2,” said Penn. | hades1 |
