Comment by Alpha editor: ●As the economy recovers from lockdowns, our qualityshares screens are flagging numerous companies. On the Aim market, sevencompanies pass all nine of our tests. ●Gamma Communications (GAMA), which provides cloudcomputer services, gets full marks, as doesEMIS Group (EMIS)a healthcaresoftware specialist. ●Renew Holdings (RNWH), which operates as a contractorin engineering services and specialist building, scores 9/9 and ithas enjoyed positive share price momentum in recent months. ●RWS Holdings (RWS)which provides niche intellectualproperty support services and legal services businessKeystone LawGroup (KEYS)also rank highly. ●Two other companies with perfect scores have seentheir share prices fall back in the last three months. MinerPan African Resources(PAF)and online fashion retailerBoohoo Group (BOO)are less expensive thanthey were, although long-term trends in their industries and their performanceagainst our screen, suggest a positive outlook for these companies | johnrxx99
23/4/2021 20:16 | I know it obscures the value when an all-share deal takes place, so it is hard to tell whether we have 'overpaid' or not, but the thing I have always liked about RWS is how cash-generative the business is and previous acquisitions have always paid for themselves in short order, so I'm prepared to trust Brode's judgement. | jeffian
23/4/2021 09:01 | The share price over the last few months has been almost entirely governed by the SDL acquisition and reaction to it. The perception that RWS overpaid (at least on a short/medium term basis) knocked the shares back by some 30 per cent. The recent statement is encouraging and reassuring that the significant 'execution' risk on the acquisition has diminished, if not disappeared. On that basis the shares still seem undervalued for a world leader in specialist language translation. | networker
22/4/2021 09:20 | So far, so good with the SDL integration. It would have been easy to lose focus on the basic business, but this has not happened and they have also had to cope with covid issues. Also good to see RWS continues its excellent track record of cash generation, with swing to net cash £10M+ at 31st March (net debt £15.1M at 30th Sept 2020) despite final dividend payment and some significant one-off costs relating to the SDL acquisition.Always dyor. | partridge1948
22/4/2021 08:57 | On a second reading looks even more positive. Currency is the principal headwind with cable seeing a 5% swing in the period. More than double the amount of cost synergies identified at £32m and SDL is integrating well. Lots to like here and hopefully we can push through my TP of 700p. | mach100

12/2/2021 09:49 | Investor's Champion - The strength of sterling against the US dollar is creating an unwelcome foreign exchange headwind, but FX issues have been ever present with RWS. With no net debt and strong cash flow we anticipate further acquisitions over the coming months. | energeticbacker
10/2/2021 14:05 | Agree. Positive. Suggestion from the CEO that the quantum of inevitable cost savings at recently acquired company will be outlined during the April trading update, and look very likely to add substantially to a bottom line growing strongly from performance at RWS core business. Back to £7+ imho by springtime. | tarrant777 |
