Major shareholders - The total number of Rurelec securities in issue is 561,387,586 Not sure why ADVFN are not updating shares in issue correctly but it should be 561million - Rurelec's significant shareholders (including substantial) are: No. of Shares Percentage % Sterling Trust Limited 303,092,303 53.99 YF Finance Limited 96,565,166 17.20 Mr & Mrs Scott 16,481,500 3.00 | tomboyb
15/10/2018 10:06 | With a NAV of almost 7x that of current share price someone could pony up an offer here - Will they? - | tomboyb
10/10/2018 12:04 | Huge reduction in liabilities at RUR - 7million to just 2.4million - Bit of a rocky road ahead but net asset value of almost 5p v 0.65p - Tiny punt in case it works out or an offer is made | tomboyb
26/9/2018 14:18 | Typical ADVFN - Have shares in issue at 914k when it is 561K - | tomboyb
26/9/2018 14:10 | Massive reduction in Liabilities from 7million to 2.4million - Spread is a killer and WINs not offering any shares at 0.80p - | tomboyb
26/9/2018 14:05 | Always a big spread on these. Surprised we haven't moved higher....it's a better situation than for long time. Lets hope Mr Earl still fancies a come back...the take out price surely must have gone higher.....and will do more so I imagine. So if he really, really wants it, then he needs to move sooner rather than later. | justjill
26/9/2018 13:38 | Awful spread and it looks like WINS not playing ball are they - Not giving anything at 0.80p - | tomboyb
26/9/2018 13:31 | 1.1mill profit - Current Liabilities down from 7million to 2.4mill - Thats a big reduction - NAV 4.7p - That seems pretty ok to me? | tomboyb
26/9/2018 13:25 | WELL DONE RUR management. It's still not great, but at least you are starting to turn the ship around! Think you deserve a bonus. (but maybe only about 20 quid!) If Mr Earl would like to come back and make another offer I'm sure we'd be delighted to hear from him. And now he has a nice up-to-date clear picture of Co, including at the South Atlantic power generator. Though I'm sure he is already pretty clear on that situation! | justjill
20/8/2018 22:47 | The bottom line is that two members of the LSE board called this years before the "clucky ducky" started to threaten writing a letter to the authorites and reading up on the law. Poor deluded sodlost his cash and now spends his time ranting like an old fool. Oh for the days of the contributors who actually had some idea or actual insight. Maybe the LSE board would be worth reading again. PE will look to buy Rurelec for next to nothing i.e. a quid at a time. | richardsoul
20/8/2018 22:40 | just take your investment advice from a ranting old duck - he'd accuse all views not in line with his own as fifth columnists. | richardsoul
17/8/2018 10:40 | Very, Resourceful. So what was Monday all about. Was watching, as previous week, small sells being mopped up. But small numbers. Then last Monday. Maybe one purchase fed another. Maybe there are a lot of peeps on sidelines here just watching..... But yes "strange! Would be great if someone - Peter Earl (again) maybe, came in and actually offered as least NAV! | justjill
13/8/2018 17:08 | how come AIM dont force an RNS tomorrow morn | resourceful
13/8/2018 14:48 | Why the rise | philmar089
03/8/2018 16:59 | The wait goes on for the BOD to actually make a difference . So far ,achievements have been perfunctory at best . Best of All | bbr391
03/5/2018 08:32 | Next week the doors open legally for PE to make another attempt...if he wants. After he walked away last Nov, he had to wait for another bidder to act first, or the BOD to give him permission - which was unlikely. So could be an interesting time coming up for the share price now that he is free to act again.... | justjill
10/1/2018 17:43 | Could be a good share at this price ,ie 1p My valuation is well above this . Best of Luck All | bbr391
07/12/2017 15:22 | Not knowing the impact on RUR of the problems at EDS, with damage and reduced output, was Peter Earl’s supposed reason for walking away in November. Always thought that was a bit dubious. But if he didn’t know then, well he has a much better understanding now….some more info to come. Wonder will that prompt him to apply for permission to make another bid before end of the six month time limit. | gerhart
06/11/2017 13:43 | ADVFN shows Allanice News annaouncemnet at 12.05 saying no bid. But it's 13.30 before Co made announcement. Anyone know how Allanice New knew for sure at 12.05? | gerhart
16/10/2017 16:29 | Will be over 5p soon enough.. All sellers have left | letmepass |
