Well - i certainly agree that Africa is the last frontier in Aviation - and i there are'nt many who would be able to handle this massive project apart from Stelio + Easygroup -

Bought some more here. FastJet is a great way to leverage the massive growth in Africa.

From todays's Telegraph.....China is lending Africa $20bn over the next 3 years to develop infrastructure etc

They are moving quickly on this - Its a very big project hence the risk reward -

Proposed Change of Name to Fastjet and Notice of General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that a General Meeting of the Company will be held on 6 August 2012 at 10.00 a.m. at the offices of Thomas Eggar LLP, 76 Shoe Lane, London EC4A 3JB to consider the passing of a special resolution to change the Company name to FastJet Plc.

The Notice of Meeting, together with a form of proxy, will be posted to shareholders today. Electronic copies of these documents are also available on the Investors section of the Company's website at www.rubicondiv.co.uk.

Ed Winter, Rubicon CEO, commented:

"The company is now focussed on launching FastJet flights with its first A319 in October and the change of company name at this time reflects that progress."

Obviously interested here forum wise - Proactive have been positive about RUBI and i have a stake here so i am clearly biased!

It always becomes interesting when u have first mover advantage in anything - Obviously the risk is higher but so can the rewards be.
