12/9/2011 14:16 | Maintaining the dividend would be nice. Expecting profits to be flat with debt reduction. | bonio10000
12/9/2011 13:47 | Still in Aleman. Not sure what quite to expect on Wednesday though! | professor x

27/8/2011 06:54 | Nice summary ExV. Thank you. | bonio10000
26/8/2011 18:17 | Post on value investing blog: Cliffs: A lot of negative sentiment, most of which for good reason - but looking at the underlying business, the balance of risk seems to make the price attractive. On a P/E of 5 and forward of under 5, seems cheap even given the issues. | exv
10/8/2011 08:26 | Deloitte saying revenues up in the regions. | bonio10000
05/8/2011 14:45 | Impressive resilience in the share price of TNO in the midst of the current chaos. Noteworthy that the share price is currently sitting on its rising 20 day Simple Moving Average which appears to be about to cross through its 100 day Simple Moving Average to the upside. The tracking sideways of the share has allowed for a correction in its technically overbought state. TNO looks as though it may be set for its next move higher. But given the current stockmarket mayhem, nothing is assured. | bobsidian
28/7/2011 15:14 | bonio10000 - 18 Jul'11 - 08:26 - 529 of 539 Sold at 30p? Great timing. What an odd bloke. bonio10000 - 25 Jul'11 - 08:27 - 531 of 539 Good call by Envirovision -------------------- Actually FWIW I got 31.25 pence for them. | envirovision
27/7/2011 16:31 | rmillaree, agree about no acquisitions for a while. | crawford
27/7/2011 09:26 | I can't see why they are not forecasting dividend increases, even if only modest ones. Will dilution be so bad in the next 3 years that a 15- 20% rise in profit and retained earnings worth nearly half the market cap after dividends sees no rise in that dividend? 26/7/2011 17:01 | Aleman, valid points which the City appears to have taken a liking to over the past week. TNO needs to clear 35p then the rise could accelerate as they get re-rated. Additionally the second half of the year is their strongest. So imo we could see 50p before year end. | contrarian2investor
26/7/2011 16:24 | The company was trading on less than half a normal rating due to cashflow and debt issues due to poor cash collection. The trading statement suggests receivables have improved and debt has fallen. This seems to be reinforced a little by the new banking facilities as one assumes Lloyds will have taken an interest in the cashflow and debt situation in negotiations. Results are said to be in line so the rating is still half where it should be if the poor cashflow has been resolved. | aleman
26/7/2011 16:13 | does anyone know why the share price has moved up so sharply in the last couple of weeks. recent announcements have not been that exciting. I have seen nothing that warrants such an improvement. pim | petersinthemarket

15/7/2011 23:33 | No problem, i've never been one for worrying about posting unless its subscription stuff, perhaps wrongly. I just though it was such a refreshing angle of approach that I would never have contemplated that myself and that it deserved further exposure but glad you like the thread and hope you may even feel minded to contribute. Links next time, cheers. | envirovision
15/7/2011 21:45 | envirovision - it's okay on this occasion but be careful about breaching copyright in future. Posts should be seen in context (and with appropriate sponsorship, advertising and fees where necessary) so it is better to post a link. I even have doubts about that sometimes but there is no legal recourse so you can posts links to anything. (Imagine somebody having thoughts on atheism copied or linked onto a church blog without permission, or support for animal testing onto an anti-vivisection website. It is always worth bearing in mind that you lose control of anything you put on the interweb, even if the law tries to protect some aspects of it.) In this case, you are welcome, but tread warily. Ironically, SHA looks an interesting thread for someone who likes to post about economics Thanks for pointing it out. | aleman |
