Cranfield School of Management has agreed to use RMR plc's online conference
software platform to help bring logistics and supply chain experts from across
the world together at an Internet based conference.


Cranfield will use the software to host an event called
SupplyChainKnowledge2001 (www.sck2001.com).

Online conferences recreate the look and feel of physical conferences with
high profile speakers, exhibitions, discussion forums and training areas but
are held via the Internet.


Dr Mark K Smith, Business Development Director at RMR plc, said: "This
agreement with Cranfield School of Management is a significant step forward
for us as we continue to offer online conferences to a wider range of clients.


"The new software enables organisations to host their own online conference or
exhibition and open it up to their own audiences. In that respect it is
particularly gratifying to work with Cranfield who are one of the world's
leading institutions dealing with logistics and supply chain management.


"The Internet and e-commerce are now playing a greater part in the management
of supply chains and therefore to have a conference about the subject on the
Internet would seem to be a logical step."


The online event will be officially opened in November 2001.
