Very informative -- makes such a change from so many posters who post daft, and utterly fatuous comments like 'sold out now, gla', and 'just bought 5k hope for the best', or worse still, and early morning post such as 'morning lads!' (utterly cringe-making!)

Just the standard one ADVFN provides in the header along with charts and news (i.e. the fundamentals checkbox). It presents some basic info - current market cap, turnover, NMS, etc, a simple reminder which I find helpful. I'm not asking to calculate or write up anything and obviously not a biggie if you prefer not.

@Outlaw - what sort of fundamentals? I'm all for keeping headers simple, most people shoot past them anyway and it's always best to do own research not rely on others especially when the facts can change which often happens.

volume moves the share price - and large blasts of blue or red volume often mark the beginning and end of a trend movement - so this is an encouraging look

@2magpies - out of interest what do you get out of your ADVFN subscription? I pay my broker for live L2, considered ADVFN for company financial data downloads but data quality is sometimes suspect, and the absence of expenses detail in P&L data weakens the product IMO. As for PBB, I can't see the value considering the few really informative posters I've encountered hold free accounts, and the most annoying rampers have premium accounts!

I've been saying this for a long time, but they won't do it because they want the hits, which they use to justify to those paying for advertising on the site.


People creating multi accounts and spamming the board generate more hits, which is what they want.....
