And they had better be good.

They still haven't exercised the option to acquire Copper Dome - and the time limit approaches fast (23rd May). This has been mentioned in three consecutive RNSs, but not in the last one? Why? Has it been dropped??

DP (and Co.) have been exceedingly good with words, and in dropping very positive-sounding RNSs - but these have all vanished into silence. They have come to absolutely NOTHING - so far!

The share price performance has been awful for a long time.

PJ (one of the introducers) has been selling -- (perhaps sold out??) Not a good omen.

They keep going on about going onto bigger areas, exploring further, and now reaching outside Australia (for heaven's sake!!!).

In my mind it raises the question: what is really going on here??

ROCK could well surpirse us - but I'm sceptical.

My guess is plans are fairly well formulated so we will probably have something to assess before long.

Yes I agree Geko and please don't think I'm negative, I'm not and have added at current lows. I just look for yellow flags as I go along.

Paleje, Progress has been good with the current projects, in fact ahead of schedule as I recall, but they are early stage. It really depends on what the vision is for expansion. Obviously if they just get drawn in to projects that require funding and have no synergy then it's the rocky road to ruin. However I would imagine there have already been discussions and clear plans formulated and that this appointment is symptomatic of those.

What I wasn't keen on was David's mention, again, about '...actively assessing new, more advanced opportunities globally...'

More geographies eh, the long and winding road. I'd really like to see some measure of the commercial value within our current geography before turning the narrative towards overseas adventures. Lets see tangible progress on what we've already got please.

I'm assuming Nicholas must be happy with what he's seen so far and believes it can be replicated elsewhere. Ordinary shareholders need to believe it too.

Much as I'd love to see it I can't imagine us hitting 10m - and holding it, which is key - until we at least have an initial resource estimate out. David has said he wants that done as soon as possible so investors have something tangible to measure against.

I agree. I don't know what all the talk was of imminent announcement, lift off etc, but I do think DP has been good so far. Ahead of schedule, informs the market quickly both with good news and when they've had to bite the bullet which is also important. Share price yet to respond to the previous positive announcement but if he can keep them coming one would think it deserves a higher MC.
