28/1/2019 08:05 | Fund raise was expected and in current market not too bad I suppose. Chairman partaking, pity the share price was languishing. | paleje

15/1/2019 17:02 | Soil sampling underway @rockfireplc 5h5 hours ago #Rockfire @Rockfireplc Soil sampling underway at the Double Event Gold Prospect in QLD. Samples are hand-dug to about 15cm to sample beneath the A-horizon soil. This minimizes any possibility of surface contamination and provides the most representative sample for analysis. | paleje

14/1/2019 15:44 | Not sure how long soil sampling takes then add on lab time, perhaps because of the weather conditions the lab might have some slack. Drilling and lab testing have been impressive in the past and it sounds like DP wants to chivvy things along. | paleje
14/1/2019 15:20 | 14 January 2019 Rockfire Resources plc ("ROCK", "Rockfire" or "the Company") Sampling underway to infill Double Event Rockfire Resources plc (LON: ROCK), the Queensland copper and gold-focused resource company, announces that soil sampling is underway, ahead of schedule, in the field season at the Double Event Prospect, which forms part of the Lighthouse tenement. Sampling is designed to accurately pinpoint drilling targets in a 2.5km long zone, which lies between the two drilling programs completed during 2018. · The entire Double Event vein structure is 4.5km long, with only 800m of this system tested so far by Rockfire; · Drilling on this structure in 2018 returned 3m @ 10.04 g/t Au (from 27m), 3m @ 2.94 g/t Au (from 15m), 2m @ 3.17g/t Au (from 13m) and 4m @ 1.81 g/t Au (from 16m); · Gold was intersected in nearly all holes in the two drilling campaigns, with one hole being terminated after drilling into an historical mine shaft at 18m depth; · Several holes intersected gold over the licence boundary and inside the Kookaburra Licence, resulting in a 1.5km extension of the vein system strike length; Chief Executive Officer of Rockfire, David Price, commented: "Our exploration schedule for 2019 has started early, with soil sampling underway at Double Event. The wet season is still upon us in northern Australia, however access currently remains possible, so we are making the most of this opportunity." "Other exploration programs are being scheduled and a standard Conduct and Compensation Agreement is currently being arranged with the landowner of Copper Dome Porphyry Copper Project in Central Queensland. Our Due Diligence process for a decision on the Option to Acquire Copper Dome is on-going and a decision is due before May 2019." "The Company is in discussions with its consultant geophysicists regarding undertaking dipole-dipole IP survey lines at Copperhead. This survey is designed to highlight sulphide-rich zones beneath Copperhead. We will continue to inform the market as our exploration momentum increases." | cpap man

07/1/2019 16:08 | "If not you will be liquidated and assets taken private" You sound like a dalek mate, oh no that was 'exterminated'. Ah well try and get out more, fresh air, couple of beers if you can suck it through those snorkelly things. And don't try paying with crypto. Chill. | paleje

07/1/2019 12:30 | I agree 2mag, they're geologists and making the best call as they see it. PNG down but not out. Strategy, which is what they said. What distinguishes us from the many is we have management who tell the truth, don't squander funds and keep investors well informed. Cash must be needed in the coming months but I don't think DP caves in to silly broker offers. Can't really see crypto suffocating funds. If we don't have the materials to build the brave new world of high tech and no fossil fuels there won't be any need for crypto. | paleje
07/1/2019 12:17 | The assets and data are not in any doubt but the ability to raise equity on AIM in 2019 will be gone with assets moving to crypto. The lucky ones get a takeover but the majority will be liquidated. :( | aidenabettin
07/1/2019 12:15 | I don't think they are in 'liquidation' category. Far from it. DP's own professionalism (as a geologist), imo, is involved - he wouldn't be being so forthright and enthusiastic if he didn't really believe in the geological data. | 2magpies
07/1/2019 12:08 | Or be another resource company on AIM being liquidated in 2019. The list is growing by the day as assets are moving to crypto and out of !IM | aidenabettin
07/1/2019 12:06 | yes, it does reduce potential in PNG. Unfortunately, it also, now makes ROCK just another of many, many Aussie explorers. They had bet get some real discoveries in order to establish a new USP. And soon. | 2magpies
07/1/2019 11:55 | Todays RNS clears up PNG speculation then, relinquishing 2 licences keeping Nakru. All current focus on Queensland though and a progress update soon. Explorers due more attention this year, ROCK amongst them imo. | paleje
