30/6/2020 07:49 | I like the fact that as soon as they could they have reinstated the Dividend,it says bundles for their ethos. With that in mind when the property does sell will they distribute a reasonable proportion of the proceeds to shareholders...looks possible to me after this. | riddlerone
30/6/2020 07:47 | More robust than expected IMO | dan_the_epic
30/6/2020 07:33 | Dividend back on, sales up and debt down. Yes, delay in property sales, but trading is good. | 18bt
28/6/2020 14:06 | Interesting week coming up we hope. | riddlerone
04/6/2020 09:06 | So I presume that the AGM is still on 30th June which looking at past years should have an AGM statement accompanying it in the morning. | riddlerone
06/5/2020 18:53 | I just keep buying Tiger | castleford tiger
27/4/2020 20:28 | Ok, I was aware of that. The Grade II listed mill was to be converted with 4 retail and 26 flats with further residential and 2 additional retail buildings and a pub built in the grounds. At the time I actually spoke to the planners and there was certainly some complex discussions going on about exposed detail within the mill (I think some sort of Victorian fire protection - can't recall exactly). Just had a look at that application and nothing new since 2017. | cockerhoop
27/4/2020 20:24 | Maybe it's just seen as a relatively safe haven in these uncertain times as the company has said they don't expect to be as badly affected as some others due to the nature of their customers. | arthur_lame_stocks
27/4/2020 20:18 | I am as certain as I can be that there are no current planning applications. I am still of the opinion that someone has used the equation: High demand + low oil price = ££££ | zdapa
27/4/2020 19:48 | ALS, Do you have a reference? I looked on the Chesterfield Planning site after the results but didn't see any new planning apps.......but may have missed them. | cockerhoop
27/4/2020 19:10 | They made 7.3 p per share Market cap is 14/15 m The shares are undervalued That why they have gone up Tiger | castleford tiger
27/4/2020 18:44 | It sounds like they're trying to vary the planning consent to something other than reatil sheds and houses and that they are confident that they can sell the site if they get consent. | arthur_lame_stocks
27/4/2020 18:23 | I've walked around the perimeter of the site, certainly extensive but not at all straight forward development project with the Mill being listed. Hinted in the results closer to sale after being more downbeat of late since planning obtained. | cockerhoop
27/4/2020 15:17 | Had a few initial purchases today very difficult to buy as you say.Balance sheet and latest results look really impressive and any movement on sale of property can only have a positive effect..from Annual report 2019 " Property The Group has surplus properties and other properties not used in the manufacture of packaging products with a total value at the end of 2019 of £6.4m (2018: £6.4m). | riddlerone
27/4/2020 14:39 | Castleford Tiger - you are correct. I tried to buy on Thursday, and on Friday without success. Managed to buy a few today. What’s going on? I don’t know. 45,000 is a lot of shares to trade in this company. If it was a sale then it could be one of the former directors although the numbers look odd. If it was a purchase then someone knows something. I have not heard anything definite about planning permission, a takeover looks unlikely so I can only conclude that someone has calculated what a mix of increased demand for some products plus a decrease in input costs could mean to profits. | zdapa
27/4/2020 14:25 | I can't remember the last time they were above 70p! | arthur_lame_stocks
27/4/2020 13:40 | what's going on here? | davemac3
17/4/2020 20:28 | They are tightly held | castleford tiger
17/4/2020 17:39 | Is she 'avin a Giraffe? | arthur_lame_stocks
30/3/2020 09:36 | Let me be clear no company can make a definitive positive going concern statement. Should be sufficient to state giving the continuing conditions there remains a fundamental uncertainty as to whether adequate resources are available and will depend on future events outside company's control. | charo |
