10/10/2012 16:57 | ont be fooled by earnings pedestrian without degrading pension credit. good c but worth lot less than this. | charo
10/10/2012 12:17 | Yes sorry Davidosh my mistake should have said sell. Looking forward to the planning/property deals. | battlebus2
10/10/2012 11:39 | I think you will find you can sell at 130p not buy!! Buyers now need to pay close to 135p but I do not think they can pick many up which is causing the upswing. RBN are still trading well below NAV and imagine if a property deal selling some of the excess assets is announced that of course does not affect the core business. The planning consent must be close for the supermarket deal that was announced nearly a year ago! Additionally there is the Sonoco deal that could see a purchase of the rented property in July 2013 or they have to pay 450k in annual rental so potentially a £6m or so asset there surely? | davidosh
10/10/2012 07:47 | This is even surprising me now at 130p to buy :)) | battlebus2
03/10/2012 18:11 | Certainly doesn't as we are steadily climbing. | battlebus2
03/10/2012 10:59 | I understand they apply a notional rent and of course collect from a number of tenants on their freehold properties. Nothing wrong with owning your own sites and Robinson have rather a lot which underpins the net asset value too. There was nothing in relation to Scotplast that worried me and certainly the market does not seem worried either. | davidosh
03/10/2012 10:08 | his investment in scotplast was stupid and ill managed.cost the group .the collusion in the prepack leaving the previous incompetent owners in control stuffing creditors left a poor taste. what will his next move be. the margins in operations are reasonable but i believe strip out the pension fund credit and apply a notional rent to properties occupied and returns fall dramatically. how will he drive the business forward cant afford to fail again. i have however now taken my advice and exited so no further comment. | charo
26/9/2012 08:16 | Charo....What exactly do you see as so shocking that a director shouLd resign? The company appear to have done everything possible to support Scotplast and they had to write off half a million in the accounts. Robinson will have no interest going forward so what are you suggesting that AF has done wrong over and above that which was stated in the interims? | davidosh
25/9/2012 22:05 | fomela should resign. | charo
25/9/2012 22:04 | the robinson family should be ashamed of the fiasco and prepack at scotplast. | charo
12/9/2012 09:34 | Yes the buying continues again today, stronger share than most think and of course the land assets to come. | battlebus2
11/9/2012 21:28 | No share price weakness in the light of mediocre results. I would have expected some weakness. apad | apad
24/8/2012 07:35 | poor results and very bad first acquisition by very well paid formela.still its not his money. | charo
23/8/2012 17:48 | Yes i can see both sides, i wouldn't buy at the minute but happy to hold. | battlebus2
23/8/2012 17:42 | I thought results were ok Showed decent growth over 2011 if you exclude the investment write off | overmars
23/8/2012 17:12 | I was disappointed with the results and have now sold all my holdings. | seekerofvalue
23/8/2012 14:50 | Thought we might get an over-reaction to yesterday's results so I sold a few at 114.1p. If the underlying growth is as forecast, I am happy to continue to hold the rest, pick up the divi and wait for the land value to be outed. | shanklin
22/8/2012 16:57 | Times are certainly tough even for Robinson's. Revenue almost flat and a write off for Scotplas which seems sensible at this time. On the positive side profit is up and the dividend has been maintained, we also have the benefit of the new contract to come in 2013. Margins seem to be holding up well. Land sales also to come. Debt well down. The directors are nevertheless optimistic that the Group will show further progress in the profitability of the underlying continuing businesses by the end of the year. Still a decent hold imv. Davidosh any views? | battlebus2
