14/6/2023 12:33 | Par for the terrain, really. Can recall meeting RW at head office well over a decade ago and his conceding zilch revenue visibility. | edmondj
14/6/2023 09:10 | Thanks Essential | gswredland
14/6/2023 08:42 | It has indeed, possibly more complex this time with AI grabbing white collar employment over the next few years?. Directors often give a signal when to buy in this sector, but ignore small purchases. | essentialinvestor
14/6/2023 08:34 | I agree Hastings. May take a couple of years though! Done this with all the recruiters in recession and it's been profitable | gswredland
14/6/2023 08:10 | Circa 35% of mkt cap in net cash at the current price and a decent div too, assuming it will be held! Worth holding for a turnaround in due course. | hastings
14/6/2023 06:37 | If price react positively to the trading statement then something is afoot IMO. Otherwise the recent perkiness looks like over-optimistic bottom fishing. | hpcg
05/6/2023 16:35 | Maybe but has risen over 10% the last 2 trading days. | deadly
19/4/2023 17:10 | I mentioned a few weeks ago is the recruitment cycle about to roll over and it's now looking more likely. More jobs cuts in large tech announced today. | essentialinvestor
19/4/2023 17:02 | Am assuming there's sellers out there with the view the recent statement was a precursor of a profit warning? Any views on that? | chrisb1103
06/4/2023 11:52 | Robert Walters plc issued a Q1 trading update this morning flagging up a “slower start” to the year. Group net fee income was up 4% to £102.4m as the uncertain global macro-economic conditions continued to impact recruitment activity levels across a number of the Group's markets and disciplines. 84% of the Group's net fee income is now generated by international businesses, headcount was up 1% quarter-on-quarter to 4,403. The Group continues to have a solid balance sheet with net cash of £70.5m as at 31 March 2023. Valuation looks attractive with forward PE ratio at 8.4x and PS ratio at 0.3x. But share price lacks momentum and is currently extending its 15-month correction. A share to monitor for the time being... ...from WealthOracle | kalai1
06/4/2023 00:16 | Given how RS Group (different sector) faired on Wednesday having increased guidance, I might not want to look at the open!. | essentialinvestor
05/4/2023 23:31 | Trading update today (Thurs), given its making new 52w lows on small volumes I'm not seeing any indication of a turn any time soon. Ex holder, GLA | tudes100
05/4/2023 14:03 | Further share price falls, holding off on buying. | essentialinvestor
04/4/2023 11:05 | If the tech sector begins to cut back many of the listed recruitment companies may need to cut guidance. | essentialinvestor
31/3/2023 18:24 | Is the recruitment cycle about to roll over?. | essentialinvestor
31/3/2023 16:10 | Think that's the reason for the share price action, same thing happening at TM17 following excellent results but CEO resigning. | disc0dave45
31/3/2023 12:28 | I thought RW would be there until he dropped. | essentialinvestor
30/3/2023 13:45 | You're welcome. | disc0dave45
30/3/2023 13:39 | Dave, appreciate the reply, thank you. | essentialinvestor
30/3/2023 13:37 | No problem, sorry nothing on Stocko from results in March.EI - reduction in cash looks primarily due to increased tax payment, the property investment and the share buyback (only had quick glance and not wishing to offend as not up to speed with RWA and no accountant!). | disc0dave45 |
