19/8/2013 10:29 | Good call mike24, business as usual now! | wanttowin
18/8/2013 22:12 | I agree, a spike up is a good possibility. There has been a 9% drop in a short space of time. Good volume at the support and I'm going to pick up some tommorwo morning. | kitbag1984
16/8/2013 11:33 | spike from 2250 looks poss edit don't see why it should'nt open at 2300+ mon, or reach by midday if opening down nai | mike24
16/8/2013 09:32 | Quite a fall from it's recent high,I am looking for the bottom so I can add a few more. | wanttowin
13/8/2013 14:50 | Zillow was $25 in December. Now some 8 months later in the mid $90's and soon perhaps $100plus. Market cap of Rightmove deservedly £2.45billion. Zillow lower at around £2billion. Seems strange that Zillow is behind the dominant UK player in terms of market cap when Zillow is in the US market place which is vastly bigger than the UK. My guess is that when Zillow further matures , expands further and begins hopefully to take more and more market share away from the local competition - just as Rightmove did in the UK- that Zillow will become the dominant player in the USA and that its market cap will surpass that of the domestic UK market champion. Interesting to compare the two major players of online estate agency portals in the US and UK markets. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
07/8/2013 08:36 | the unthinkable, this housing spike outside london could retrace the value of pensions, wages, savings are going one way, DOWN we are sorry to announce from 1/9 your savings will drop to a new all time low, y have 30days to accept or close a/c thus avoiding any penalties, how can a less well off society, sustain a housing boom? the majority of jobs carney hopes to create will go to foreigners svs we anticipate a reduction in activity in HK, tis a massive bubble as london, which will mean rate rises sooner rather than later from this wks US blogs, we have a post stimulas dip supply/inventories are 50%up in some areas prices have exceeded 03-07 levels the true inflation rate is 8%+ the recent insignificant rate rise is having a catastrophic effect big concerns in housing market for last qtr 13 even more for 2014 the recovery was good just to far to fast up to 15% increase in prop prices over last few months could evaporate, the risks, the debt, could fall back on lenders brokers seem to be ramping a recovery without informing us of risks 39.50 target looking a bit of dream now nai | mike24
05/8/2013 08:57 | Big price target upgrade from Goldman for #Rightmove,online property portal. Upgrade target £39.50 from £29.85. Current £24.95 (30x '14 eps) | nw99
05/8/2013 08:11 | GS upped these new tgt price | nw99
01/8/2013 22:24 | Rightmove up 1.2% to-day Zillow UP 15% ( fifteen ) to-day. Don't get me wrong, I think Rightmove is a great company. But until Zillow came along very recently there was no US equivalent of Rightmove. That's crazy for a housing market as big as the US. If we see what Rightmove has achieved in the UK market, there can perhaps be a read-across to the USA for Zillow which is such a very young company but with ambitions to be the leading internet estate agency business in the USA at a time when the American housing market is showing signs of getting back on its feet. In my view, the potential for Zillow is massive. Check out the Zillow web-site. It's an interesting comparison to Rightmove. Fully intuitive. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
01/8/2013 21:29 | I'd like to get into zillion but don't know enough about it.One if the reasons I brought into rmv was because my friends and I use the site daily and after trying the others, their really was no competition. There still isn't. Going by Peter lunches maxim of buying what you know I would need to do a lot more research into zillow before I buy. That being said if it it's Americas rightmove then there is a lot of potential. I till think rmv is a buy as there eps will undoubtedly increase over the next two years. Some if that is already priced in but I think the profits will exceed the estimates. Once growth slows then it may be time to sell. | kitbag1984
31/7/2013 15:49 | since December, Rightmove is about + 50%. since December, Zillow ( the nearest equivalent in my opinion to Rightmove in America ) is about + 200%. Rightmove is in its maturity. Zillow is in its very early infancy. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
31/7/2013 14:11 | quite a pullback on profit taking after rocketing earlier which is understandable I guess . Wish my BVS would perform as well ! | arja
31/7/2013 12:23 | of course last time I held these, I sold at 450p - think it was 2007. My grounds were that RMV had saturated the market even then and wouldn't be able to increase earnings per agent. At the time agents had met up to talk about how they could prevent RMV milking them further. Now of course they are even more reliant on RMV and no competitor has made inroads on market share. Superb co./stock. Just feel I am way too late to buy back in! well done CR. | dasv
31/7/2013 10:51 | Great move up on today's results :-) Stunning long term chart. CR | cockneyrebel
31/7/2013 08:58 | Good results imo, and the market seems to agree... | dashton42
30/7/2013 20:16 | Firming nicely ready for the next leg up, £25 coming soon methinks. | wanttowin
23/7/2013 17:46 | Well my thoughts haven't changed in the last few months. 3% drop today. Wish I had some spare cash as I would have loved to buy. Anyone know why the drop today? Thought confirmation of the help to buy scheme would have been good news?!Sitting on a 20% gain at the moment. All charts look fantastic. Tend lines look great still. | kitbag1984

11/7/2013 18:51 | Welcome back G-I. I've done the same too several times, managed a couple of lower buy backs too at times tho :-) Here you go - have a mice read: | cockneyrebel
11/7/2013 11:20 | Just added a few at 2255,long term hold for me. | wanttowin
11/7/2013 09:33 | I am back in here at 2264p today after twice before taking small gains. Have decided that thgis will be for the long term. The share actually seems very cheap with a modest forward PE. Similar situation to ASOS, where I bought and sold twice taking my profit, to return back in a couple of years ago at a distinctly higher price after months of twiddling my thumbs, yet now am sitting on absolutely huge gains. I guess what has put me off to date here has similarly been the more than doubling of the share price since I last sold. However, one must buy stocks on their merit and with a property boom a possibility and surely potential for replicating the business model in foreign markets, acquisitions etc., now might be the right time. | greek islander

08/7/2013 08:38 | Good article CR, If the up trend in house prices continues, I can't help thinking of the thousands of property owners who have been waiting years for the market to recover. Also their must be plenty of buyers who have been patiently waiting for the bottom before stepping in. If this is the bottom then surely a boom is coming RMV's way ! | wanttowin
05/7/2013 10:51 | Screamin' :-) CR | cockneyrebel |
