glad everyone is doing OK in these "difficult times". A share you might all look at if you have some spare cash is CZA, a coal miner in South Africa. It shares some very general similarities with AYM in that its share price has been savaged due to a temporary difficulty with the locals, in this case due to environmental concerns over a new open pit mine (Vele). Given the importance of Vele to the local economy this will almost certainly get resolved in CZA's favour. In any case, CZA has many existing mines in operation and its share price is significantly undervalued even should Vele not proceed. The company has very strong management and wishes to list on the main market of the lse once this issue is resolved. It is currently quoted on JSE, AIM and ASX. Its ASX share price has risen well this morning. VGM has been mentioned here before and is another strong buy.

Hi BD, Totally agree about rkh and remember when we used to talk about it when it was 10p per share.

Gkp I also agree on and they will do very well and get taken out as you said but for much more than current levels. Nearly got some back couple months at 65p but didn`t quite do it :-(

MTA is risky agree there, the only one we don`t see eye to eye is pci. I think they will do very well with Isarene, and will have partner by year end. Amounts could be amazing and condensate, the share price doesn`t reflect any of this as not proved up.

Watch this space for pci, and rkh,gkp.

Bengee, two very good shares there which i'm also onboard with.

Offers, Mta is risky imo and always has been.

GKP has stacks of news to come in the next 6-9 months and will multi bag from its current position. They will get taken out and its just a question of time and how much they can prove up before they are.

Got out of PCI ages ago as i dont share your confidence with them. Algeria difficult to work in and the Italian issue wont be resolved fast imo simply because of all the issues now surrounding offshore drilling.

I've always had confidence in Rockhopper and said it on many occasions here. If the flow test goes well and they can get another hit later on they could easily go £8-10 a share. You could still get in and make good money.

Hello Bengee, Nice to hear from you. Health been all over the place for the last year but all ok now i think.

I missed out with RKH big time, had some but sold at 40p, did well with gkp from 18p to 65. went right up with pci then down to 8, got some more at 9p.
Had mta from 1p to 3.8p made loads(didn`t sell and went right down again in the end 178k pounds from a max of 270k.

Now gradually clawing my back from a low of 92k a few weeks back by trading mta and pci against each other but a long way off from 270k. Currently 120k so made back 28k in last few weeks.

Overall though only had 17k to start with when in rift before takeout which took me to 70k. So i`m still in profit but i class it as loss since the 270 k days for me when mta was 5-6p.

I`m quite confident pci is about to rocket over the next 4 months more than doubling current s.p, already gone up 33% since recent low of 8p. Biggy for them is Isarene although Tunisia could surprise and if Italy goes ahead with lifting ban then that will add several more pence to s.p


Mta, is a risk once more but we have had no news on current a12 and a13 production. No news could be good news as they may have flowed already but are awaiting positive oil without water contact before issuing an rns. MTA COULD fly once more if both a12 a13 produce,and equoise estimate 50mb recovery and mta are awarded P.L then it will be different ball game. Maybe 5p reached again. I scaled down holding on mta from 4 million to 2million shares and chucked offload to pci to lessen exposure on mta. Thats me. Hoping to make a load if i can to help out me folks and take me son on some nice holidays when he`s a little older.

Hello oot there !

What's happening with the ex-rifters gang these days ?
I hope your all making a pile with the " Falkland oilers ", I know i've made a few quid on Rockhopper & hopefully I will make much more with Desire when they drill the Rachel prospect next month. I'm also in Gulf Keystone & hope to get some good profit on that one once things settle down in Iraq.

Hyper, I am going to exit them but not at these low prices as believe it is a bit to low.When i do i`ll put it in to pci , a small trp punt, ptr and probably gkp
Hope my current 1/2 million pci do it for me.
Havent lost my remaining 3.3million mta just wanting slightly higher exit price.

It looks like offerman got a clobbering this morning on Mta.

However the MM's have gone way over the top as per usual and if you like Mta i reckon its a good time to buy in for the rise back up.

Get them on the MTA and PCI bb to do likewise, we cant let them get away with this.

B.D, Totally agree there, well worth it. All the midwives said we had way more than our fair share of issues with the little man.

Thankfully all over now, just usual things now like teething, but this is nothing as we are hardened to this and its not constant screaming as we had before for 8weeks from 7.am till midnight!!



Luckily much of that is in my SIPP.

Bd, Hi bud, Doing really well thanks.

Have had our first baby since we last spoke.Very very tough start but things getting better now though.

On the shares front like hyper i`m either brave or stupid (prob the latter) but have 4 million mta shares.
Still have pci to but thats less risky and only have 280k shares there at present but looking to increase if mta pull it off.


Glad you seem to have done well from rkh to and others.


Guess what , i nearly bought in to KEA at 12p, but didn`t thinking it would do a rift for a while.
never mind can`t win em all.

As you rightly said its prob the politics of the place in Algeria, but they could have 11tcf or more and much of that is condensate.

there is now talk or takeover of either licence area or whole of pci from Polish company but share price doesn`t reflect this.

When BOC was asked about this he declined to comment, (so maybe something up there).

Wish you and Hyper further rewards and other old Rifters.

Pci whatever is going on there. Good Management, licences and I made money there but they never seem to get it all together. Obviously have oil and gas but ..........
