Glad to hear you're still holding Kendo. I would have done the same if my average was high on Blinkx. I guess Blinkx really destroyed any appetite for this share. I averaged down heavily at some risk which has so far paid off. My average came down from 160p down to 27pIn many ways R1 is the opposite of Blinkx. Blinkx was raking it in with dodgy practice, whereas R1 is so clean, they are keeping profits down. It's an interesting conundrum for the board. I cannot disagree with your thoughts so eloquently posted.Good luck. Hope you see a decent return on your remaining 216,000.

why compare the 2010 share price action to current share price ...

The business model has change since 2010, what has the 2010 share price action got to do with today's business potential...

If it's a startup then why not compare the 2007/8 share price action to today????

alex, I've been here years and have repeatedly seen opportunities missed and the company saying one thing and then a few weeks later saying something completely opposite....
I've also seen how opportunities/headwinds 'quickly' catch up with Ad Tech companies and how this can quickly have a ripple effect through the industry - it's a fast moving industry...

So, if the company back up their comments with finances then the share price will take care of itself...
Given the history of failed acquisitions, vague TUs and poor roi I'll remain cautious until I see the proof or some consistency between TU and results..

precinct14 you're probably right this is all down to baggage from blinkx as if this was a entirely new start-up which is that breakeven point couple months back and now hopefully is fully profitable with shed loads of money in the bank and attracting new clients and adopting industry standards 1st to pioneer the way the share price would be multiples of where it is now but it's not so only be down to market waiting for cast-iron proof in the next trading update.

Stranger some people use stories from ad age to knock the company while in the same link if you scroll down to stories this article which the company is used to promote itself on its own Twitter account but that doesn't get mentioned.

If this follows the BLNX path post the 2010 results it will climb steadily throughout the summer when most people are on holiday.


And why would it do that? 2010 was an exceptional year right across the markets. 1R is carrying post-Edelman/poor recent results baggage now. If the management thought that changing the name would change perceptions at the snap of their fingers then they are naive in the extreme. It's still branded with Blinkx detritus as far as many out there are concerned. The sceptics that call the shots need concrete evidence that it's turned the corner and is going into real profit, not more BM jam tomorrow waffle. I was expecting a far stronger outlook statement that would have sent the share price up towards 60p minimum. Only a stonking 1st quarter TU will stop it from drifting sideways across the summer. Of course, I'll be more than happy if I'm proved wrong and you're proved right.

I think all he's dirty laundry is out in the open unlike most politicians as he can't keep his mouth shut, the problem is if he starts mouthing off about the FBI and what is found out since he has taken office.
