18/1/2017 13:17 | I do not know any posters personally on any RTHM thread - I judge people on here with how they express themselves, how they respond, how they behave..and their kindness to others. John John - you are not in the same league as Digi, Jarvis and the rest of the family....I am also very surprised in Gordon's comments, judgemental on little evidence. It takes all kinds - but I am particular with the company I keep. | barkboo
18/1/2017 13:13 | is a profit with an "adjusted EBITDA" a profit or not in the eyes of the market? and is the money in the bank still.... so does it make 1R cheap or not................. STT still have all them fake links and news in your header of TLY which are more tham a fast one... | football
18/1/2017 13:05 | Maybe a reconciliation of adjusted [edit] EBITDA to bottom line loss would be helpful. For 1H I think it stacks up something like this: $million +80.7 Revenue -50.6 Cost of sales -32.6 Opex excl. D, A, non-cash compensation ----- -2.5 Adjusted EBITDA -1.4 Share-based compensation -1.7 Acquisition & exceptional costs -2.7 Amortisation of purchased intangibles -2.5 Other non-cash opex (D +?) ----- -10.7 Loss from operations +0.2 Other (mainly net finance income) ----- -10.5 Loss before tax -0.4 Tax ----- -10.9 Loss after tax As you can see there's a lot of costs to account for after adjusted EBITDA before you get to the bottom line. Some are real costs to the shareholder (e.g. paying the management in shares/options, acquisition/exceptio Errors excepted. | 1gw
18/1/2017 12:44 | 1gw it's all smoke and mirrors with 1R but even at break even and money in the bank we still seem cheap to Rubicon | football
18/1/2017 12:39 | Football, you need to asterisk and footnote your profitability word when you make a statement like that! As far as I can see, 1R is likely to be profitable only in "adjusted EBITDA" terms this year. Gowlane estimated full-year loss at around $20m including Perk, while I estimate a pre-tax loss of something a bit less than $20m excluding Perk. I think this is consistent with being slightly positive in adjusted EBITDA terms. As a reminder, in 1H, R1 made a loss of $11m on revenue of $81m. Adjusted EBITDA was -$2.5m for 1H and they are still guiding to being "profitable" in adjusted EBITDA terms for the full year. In the first 9 months of its financial year (i.e. Jan-Sep 2016), Perk was at breakeven thanks to some one-off gains and was also positive in adjusted EBITDA terms ($3m). | 1gw
18/1/2017 12:17 | “Even at less than a $400 million price tag [Rubicon’s market cap] so what price 1R with money in the bank and now making a profit? | football

18/1/2017 11:22 | Barky, yes Digi and Gadgie were instrumental in getting you and your mates to buy Blinkx/1R... do you do everything anonymous posters say, without any research, or are they good mates of you and your other mates on here... 18/1/2017 11:04 | Yes, the "Dark Lord" returneth, he's rediscovered his mojo in this new age of post-truth, an ideal environment for those that eschew experts and research based commentary. What a "golden shower" his acolytes are!Where's Silkstag when you need him? | alex1621
18/1/2017 10:56 | Funny how Pooman has a vast collection of past posts but doesn't have the digi blunders in them!! We all remember the Foul mouthed idiot that some are trying to welcome back - lets face it the family is almost defunct! Great post gw - a touch of reality that this thread needs. We should all be grateful for your research and leadership! | leluot3
18/1/2017 10:06 | Ah yes, the great investor digi, well known for his thorough research. Shameful (imo) that some here are trying to rehabilitate him. This was what he said on adventis just 3 weeks or so before that company released an rns saying that "the Directors consider that it is probable that there is no value in the Company's ordinary share capital." And silkstag was a poster who was trying to highlight some issues about the accounts (i.e. doing actual research and sharing it). I do believe some posters on this thread picked up some tips from him on how to deal with rational posters raising legitimate questions. digitalis 24 May'12 - 17:51 - 47 of 502 0 0 well done howard....the silk stag is a prize hoodwinker, for some reason he wants EVERYONE off this stock?...why?....to save everyone from themselves!.....yea absolute rubbish....he has an agenda as a daytrader....daytrad | 1gw

18/1/2017 08:11 | That digitalis Edelman crash post that STT bumped is a stonking great classic of crass, arrogant, deluded stupidity. So those 'sweated out by this charade' (lol, some charade, Jimbo) missed out on the opportunity to ride the Blinkx beauty of a train wreck all the way down to 15p, as the SBM-authored 'new acquisitions will soon be doing the business'. Lol didn't they just do 'the business'? Sweet. 'The aforementioned blogger has prob never met any of the blinkx team like me personally'. To treasure. | precinct14
