Edging ever closer to BARKBOO's magical £2.40 and do we care if it was done under a share consolidation.

Big ad agencies are trying to cut out ad-tech middlemen — and justify their own existence

Rags that were greedy - which is all of them, have lost a nice move..160p to 220p. That has given away a massive head start.

They can jump in late and beat each other up - I can hear those birds singing.

Just to add a little to the above - scaffolders are guessing there was another nice buy in late yesterday.

Could help things along nicely.

ps - hearing more good things about Nano..my position fully loaded - no advice intended, please do your own research.

So the scaffolders trading a small % of this have seen under 160p low close - today the swing has been 214p on the offer.

Not the way I would play it - but it looks like they are continuing to keep this honest, or should I say honest at this dishonest level.

Some nice comparisons made on Footy's thread.

That is pbt, loaf. Numis quote adjusted PBT as far as I can see, although they don't actually call it that. However, if you compare their FY17 or FY16 "actual" PBT number with the accounts you can see there's a significant difference.

Looks like the FANGs results have all come in above forecast.

I went for PBT rather than EBITDA which would be £18 a share.

Amazon is over 100 x earnings.

Anyway back in the real world maybe we can get back to £2.50 for a start!

loaf - is that multiple for GAAP or non-GAAP earnings?

Don't forget that Numis seem to quote "adjusted" profit numbers, so there's a fair bit of amortisation, acquisition and exceptional costs to come off that adjusted number to get a clean IFRS pbt number. A 31 multiple on it would still look good, mind, compared to today's shareprice.

Just looking across the pond at some valuations.

Turns out the S@P 500 tech sector average is on 31 X past 12 month earnings.

So if we make our $45M in 11 months time and were a US tech company we could potentially have a market cap of $1.4B or a Billion pounds.

All things being equal that's £12.50 a share.

Food for thought.
