Level 2 looking good but majority at market - Auction up 18%. Nice |
Results look very good on the surface. Will have to wait until market opens to see how they compare to estimates. |
That's the question... though given they are planning a conference call nearly two hours long it could be both... |
UP - or DOWN???????? |
A massive move tomorrow when they report seems all but guaranteed- I can't wait! |
"Please note that the Rentokil Initial management presentation to take place on 7 March 2024 will run longer than usual from 9:15am to approximately 11:00am GMT. Andy Ransom CEO and Stuart Ingall-Tombs CFO will be joined as co-presenters by Brad Paulsen, the newly appointed CEO of Rentokil Initial North America." |
Rollins dropped about 8% after their results due to a slowdown in North America, which I suppose corroborates RTO's argument that the market has slowed rather than it being a problem with their acquisition... |
I should have said I'm doing it because I know someone who wants to reverse in an asset they have!
LOTM |
I can understand that, that policy has served me well in the past.
That said LOOK how many of the shells ( 40 ) to start, are gone today taking all investors cash with them.
31 dead, and all down bar 3.
Good luck. |
Hi sunshine Today,
2014 is of no use to me, I'm looking for something that's just turned itself into a shell & needs an asset within 6 months etc to retain its listing etc.
So that someone could reverse a resource asset into it
Thanks LOTM |

Just one stock has outperformed by a mile. ( look at the charts in the header, most have gone bust over the last ten years.)
Triad Group plc. ( TRD ).
I expect more of the same based on recent events where the city has yet to cotton on.
1/ Winning 3 top industry awards
2/ 4 long term contract wins at the tail end of last year
3/ Job openings galore while most are laying off staff. |
Hi Hedgehog 100,
Do you know of any recent shell companies, looking for assets ?
Resource sectors especially
Thanks in advance

![](https://images.advfn.com/static/default-user.png) The shell AJAX meanwhile has recently reported "the gradual recovery in UK market sentiment":-
27/11/2023 07:00 UK Regulatory (RNS & others) Ajax Resources PLC Half-Yearly Report and Proposed GM LSE:AJAX Ajax Resources Plc
"Half-Yearly Report for the 6 months to 31 August 2023
... The Company has continued to make good progress towards successfully identifying an acquisition in the natural resources sector.
Ajax has been evaluating various advanced gold and copper exploration opportunities across several jurisdictions, as well as certain metal recovery projects located in Central Asia utilizing innovative, environmentally friendly technologies capable of generating significant profitability.
We have continued, in view of our current development stage, to maximise cost control in keeping expenditure to a minimum.
It is our belief that we are now potentially not far from finding an opportunity that satisfies our development criteria, and we consider the gradual recovery in UK market sentiment to constitute an auspicious backdrop for our potential near-term progress. ..."
As at 31.8.23, AJAX had cash & cash equivalents of £818,124, which is not that much more than that of ARA (Aura Renewable Acquisitions) (£723,127 at 30.6.23); but has a market cap. of c. £2M., which is more than treble ARA's market cap. (£630K. at 6p). |
Rentokil Initial was weaker after RBC Capital Markets cut its price target on the shares to 575p from 610p as it downgraded forecasts for forex and a greater back-end loading of TMX synergies, but said it believes the long-term story remains intact.

Hindsight will tell. I believe the fall to 400 had an air of capitulation about it and therefore overdone. Change of direction in the market coincided with interest rate decisions this week. |
Is this just a dead cat bounce or is the drop overdone? |
Would be worrying if people bought in. It's on my watch list. |
