envirovision, I fully expect RNO to get back to 36p-38p range before year end. The only caveat is that markets need to stabilise. Otherwise everything including good/solid stocks like RNO will get sold of indiscriminately.

Well I'm delighted, managed to pick up a small holding of these shares at 30p each even though my trade is not actually showing in the trades column!!!!

This is the start of a long term holding for me in this international company

No mention from Schwartz this weekend (no companies mentioned at all!). Maybe another week.

RNO's momentum and value should be enough to keep things bubbling nicely.

Yes i noticed a 100k earlier at 40.5 its nice to see some buyers are actually out there for a change. Something the stock has been lacking in for a to long now.

Hope so envirovision - as you say, the trading statement is deffo worth saying something about. I'm sure he will mention them, it's just a question of whether it's this weekend or later on.

"Renold on track to double operating profits
July 21, 2011

Engineering firm Renold said sales and orders have continued to grow in recent weeks, keeping it on track to double adjusted operating profits during this financial year.

Renold, which is based in Wythenshawe, Manchester, and makes gears, chains and couplings, said underlying sales in the three months to the end of June were 12 per cent ahead of the same period last year while orders surpassed that figure.

Revenues in Australasia, China and India rose by more than 20 per cent.

Shares in the company ticked up 0.75p or nearly two per cent to 40p after the update.

Renold's products are used in sectors including leisure, energy, steel, mining, transport and food processing.

They feature in London Tube Station escalators, Big Ben's clock tower and the Oblivion ride at the Alton Towers theme park."

Wonder if David Schwartz will mention them in this weekends FT, he's a long time follower of them and with an IMS like this one would think its worth a comment. RNO is still very much a small unloved share and management have confirmed a couple of times now that progress is positive.

many tks for your post,i have purchased 260000 shares over the last 5 months at an average of 36p,i feel there Is great value here ,although the past track record has been dreadfull,hopefully tHat is being put behind them slowly,and the mkt will get more confident of the mngt actually delivering profits going fwd.i did like your coment as regards the non execs!!
