Always goes quiet after a pullback in the share price Full year results on 13th July.

The last update was informing the market of even better than expected trading, record high order books and with little or hardly any impact from Russia/Ukraine situation. With Interest rates rising I'm hoping also to hear of pension deficit liabilities being reduced/revised downwards.

Interesting too was that the company pension trustee had built up a stake (8.17%) in the shares earlier this year.

Pretty quiet board?

Should be moving up as Results Date nears in two weeks.
Must be money to be made here?
IMHO DYOR.

Does anyone know if Peel Hunt updated? Don't think that they make research available on Research Tree.

Recent forecasts have been closely around 42p, although I guess today's news will improve on that.

Strong trading update, all positive and no mention of supply chain issues, management are doing a very good job here, particularly with price increases before cost increases in raw materials.

Make me wonder how the price touched 20p level.

Profits materially ahead and "The current order book of GBP84.1m is a record high for the Group (31 March 2021: GBP53.6m)."

As a result of the stronger sales, benefits of cost reduction and efficiency programmes, and the successful implementation of price increases running ahead of raw material and energy cost increases, the Board is now expecting underlying trading profit for FY22 to be materially ahead of the previous upwardly revised expectations.

Drop probably related to any potential China slowdown, but may not be of material impact

Thanks Jailbird. I did find out that it is less than 1% of sales so no material impact so far as I know.

Big pullback in the sp!

There is an office for sales in Russia according to their website
Unsure how this will impact any sales in the region if at all

Just looking at this following the pullback.

Anyone familiar with the company know what exposure they have to Russia and Ukraine, is it a big market for them?

Thanks

https://www.fool.co.uk/2022/01/16/5-penny-stocks-id-buy-for-2022-and-beyond/Still going strong after 157 yearsInvesting in old companies isn't a guarantee of success. But, in my experience, businesses that have been trading for more than 100 years often have some attractive qualities. Renold (LSE: RNO) is one such firm. This business specialises in industrial chains and gearboxes - technology it's been developing and perfecting since 1864.Growth hasn't always been in a straight line. Major customers in the mining and construction suffer cyclical slumps from time to time. Demand for some products has changed over the years. I suspect the shift to electric power and renewable energy will create fresh challenges.Renold's revenue and profits have fallen over the last two years, in part because of the pandemic. However, half-year figures for the six months to 30 September suggest the business has returned to growth. Revenue for the period rose by 17% and adjusted operating profit was 41% higher.Broker forecasts suggest this growth should continue into 2022/23. With Renold shares trading on just eight times forecast earnings, I'd be happy to buy the shares for my portfolio.

There was talk of off-loading this to specialist insurers. Going by previous companies, with the same employment demographic, a substantial windfall would be in order.

fuji99, This is the full story so in my opinion not a major concern.

'Cash pension costs are sustainable, having remained consistent at approximately GBP5.5m for several years. The Group's IAS 19R retirement benefit obligation decreased from GBP102.4m at 31 March 2021 to GBP100.3m at 30 September 2021'
