30/8/2024 13:11 | Bearing in mind the steady ascendancy of RNWH , if I was on the BOD of a larger competitor , like Balfour Beattie, would I be looking to try to out-compete or would I be looking at swallowing up the rising upstart? Wishful thinking , but maybe the recent static share price would be the opportunity to strike? | wad collector

22/8/2024 07:51 | Hopefully gents more potential good news in the future. Scottish Water puts firms on alert for £6.3bn framework. | igoe104
21/8/2024 21:26 | Somehow suspect that the taxpayer would pick up that tab. | wad collector
21/8/2024 08:24 | rivaldo: Great news. Only one possible worry - Security of payment and/or significant payment delays if Thames Water goes bust. | pugugly
21/8/2024 07:58 | Yet another great contract award securing huge large revenues going forward. And also worth noting from the same press release: "This award brings Browne’s secured contracts with Thames Water to more than £400m for asset management period 8 (AMP8) as a supplier on its Thames area-wide geographic framework and on the non-infrastructure Runway 1 frameworks" | rivaldo
19/8/2024 07:30 | Browne lands £130m Thames Water contract. | igoe104
14/8/2024 06:41 | Wow - great spot igoe104. Story aren't part of RNWH, but at worst this is £420m for QTS and a large part of £730m for AMCO, representing secured revenue over the next five years. And with a further three year extension likely too. Terrific news. | rivaldo
13/8/2024 09:43 | I suppose with it spread over 5 years, its not worthy. Interesting to see the contract could be extended a further 3 years. So maybe more cash 💸 coming RNWH way... | igoe104
13/8/2024 09:11 | Surprised that a joint £730M contract didn't warrant an RIS here! Hope there is enough capacity in the company to service these big contracts. The AIM rules "AIM Stock Market companies are required to issue notification of major new developments regarding changes in their financial condition, or activity and performance of their business which would be likely to lead to a substantial movement in share price. Usually an assessment of the requirement to make these announcements is made after consultation with the company’s advisors" So I guess that it is a bit discretionary if a large contract is relevant. | wad collector
13/8/2024 08:25 | 1 15 Billion contract for QTS./AmcoGiffen. Lot B – buildings and civils up to £730m to AmcoGiffen and StoryLot C – geotechnical and minor civils up to £420m to QTS | igoe104
09/8/2024 14:25 | Yes, Wad, loss of IHT relief may mean a hit, but on the other hand a move to the main market would interest many institutions who stay clear of Aim. The fundamentals would remain compelling. I’ve been a happy holder since 2006 btw. | dozey4
09/8/2024 13:02 | Having plateaued for 4 months , looks like another leg up is imminent. One possible cloud on the horizon it that the new Government might remove IHT relief on AIM shares which would certainly be a hit , but the threat is not enough to make me move out of the sector. | wad collector
09/8/2024 07:28 | Good to see the Naked Trader has just bought into RNWH per his latest blog update - he's had an excellent record over the years: "I bought some Renew Holdings. This company could benefit from the new Government's keeness on all things infrastucture and building. It provides infrastucture services in all kinds of areas including the railways. The shares were re-rated upwards recently and have been sitting there for some time. However I can imagine potential for anothe re-rating and it could be a decent isa tuckaway maybe for a year or two. I found this one on my "dash for cash screen" on Sharepad. This is a screen I set up to find super companies with lots of cash. Renew is using its cash to buy up others and it has just bought Excalon Holdings." | rivaldo
16/7/2024 06:41 | Good news from all perspectives to see OFWAT opening enforcement cases this morning against four more water companies - they now have cases against all 11 wastewater operating companies. Particularly good news for RNWH of course: H "Ofwat is committed to concluding these cases as quickly as possible, so that the sector can focus on delivering the £88bn expenditure PR24 will unlock to deliver cleaner rivers and seas. As part of this package of investment £10bn is ear marked to tackle storm overflows with a target to reduce spills from storm overflows by 44%. Severn Trent has recently announced an ambitious programme to significantly reduce use of storm overflow which Ofwat welcomes." | rivaldo
15/7/2024 21:13 | Yeah , options are always a bit unpalatable , because the worst thing that can happen is that the BOD don't get them, and they can lead to share price manipulation. Like buybacks! But the counterargument about more skin in the game is an encouragement to share price performance. I do like to see significant shareholding amongst a board beyond their options, gives a good message. Eyeballing the numbers they own about 380k between the 6 named directors who have dealt in the last few yrs. or about £4M total. Personally I am not bothered about the dividend policy , happy to take capital gains instead. | wad collector
15/7/2024 16:16 | They do get a bonus each in options though do they not? Why should they buy when vitually given away to them? The rate of dividend returns to shareholders decreases in inverse relation to the profits being made? 1p increase for each of the last three years after canceling the interim for 2020 is a bit mean to say the least. | wfcreserves
12/7/2024 21:01 | I am surprised at the lack of BOD purchases, there have been none in the last 2 yrs, only one sell. I realise that it is not a reliable guide to share performance , but none of them? | wad collector
09/7/2024 18:44 | Trust they have a wage increase provision in their contracts - Under Lab will possibly increase faster than expected | pugugly
08/7/2024 19:52 | Ah...another ATH. Next leg up? | wad collector
03/7/2024 13:00 | Looks like large project work coming next year for Shepley Engineers as regards a big redevelopment of and around seven gasholders in London: "Craddys and Shepley Engineers Limited, which worked on restoration projects at Big Ben and St Pancras, as well as the Kings Cross gasholders, has been advising the developers." | rivaldo
01/7/2024 08:46 | It certainly looks like a hefty collection of contracts to keep RNWH busy and visible for future work. Hope they have the manpower and equipment to fulfill them! Sp seems to have hit a new plateau for now. | wad collector |
